Exterior Overview
Understated, underrated, and ridiculously cool, the Crown Estate is the sweetest Turbo Toyota to never hit our domestic market. Our 2000 Crown Athlete V is a wonderful wagon, finished in Crystal White Pearl/Silver Metallic (2FQ), backed by a determined 1JZ-GTE turbo drivetrain, and set off by OEM rainguards, a factory optional front lip, and snazzy 17″ Borbets. Save for a few minor cosmetic imperfections, the paintwork is in above-average shape overall, and this estate boasts just 99k verified and documented miles. Unique enough to stand out, yet subtle enough to fly under the radar, this turbocharged wagon would make an ideal daily driver, road trip cruiser, or Cars & Coffee champion. We’re excited to bring these Japanese Classics stateside, and we think the next owner will be delighted with this example.

Interior Overview
The interior matches the Crown’s aesthetic to a T, plain and simple. It’s fashioned in premium materials, boasts a full slate of power amenities, and even has a few bells and whistles to stand out from your grandma’s Avalon. The seats wear their original optional lace covers, and the driver benefits from power adjustable seating up front. Even the rear bench power reclines to maximize comfort for your rearward passengers. The tan upholstery is in good shape, soft to the touch, and devoid of any unwanted staining, holes, or rips. Up front, the vinyl dash is free of cracks, fading, or UV damage and houses dual front and side SRS airbags to maximize safety. The center stack features a fashionable factory control center, with dual-zone climate control and premium OEM audio. The A/C and heat work well, and the center vents power oscillates back and forth! In true Toyota fashion, functional power windows, power locks, and electronic folding heated side mirrors work like a charm. To maximize functionality and cargo capacity, the rear bench folds flat, and a privacy net can be affixed to the roof should you need to keep your furry friends at bay. The headliner is tidy, and the carpets have been protected by a set of plush OEM mats, Overall, it’s clear this Crown was well cared for in a prior life, and we retained the owner’s manual and maintenance booklets to further protect your precious investment!

Mechanical Overview
Under the hood, the 1JZ-GTE really separates this estate from the pack. The crown is light on its feet, easy to service, and is fresh off some preventative service from our trained technicians to get you on track for future maintenance schedules. It cranks over with haste, and settles into a smooth idle, thanks to a fresh oil and filter service. New valve cover gaskets were installed to keep any unwanted leaks at bay, and we tossed in a new engine air filter and 6 new spark plugs to keep the 2.5T running tip-top. Power is funneled through a smooth-shifting automatic gearbox right to the rear wheels, and aftermarket coilovers were installed to deliver a more responsive ride. The power steering is light and easy to maneuver, and we bolstered the ABS system with new front brake pads and rotors to help this Crown stop on a dime. The Borbet wheels are wrapped in fresh all-season rubber, and a fresh alignment was performed, sure to cover you for tens of thousands of miles of cruising!
