So you’ve found your dream car, truck, or van. What’s next?

We put our heart and soul into these vehicles and want you to feel great about your purchase!

Planning your journey

We offer and encourage test drives before purchase and can facilitate door-to-door transportation if you can’t make the trip. We provide flexible appointment slots and airport or train station pickup services. We’ll even let you get familiar with the vehicle’s underside on our four-post lift. Our deposit process is fully refundable up until you sign the title, and our top priority is making sure your new RHD import is a good one!

What forms of payment are accepted?

Buyers can purchase a vehicle in full (Cash) or utilize financing solutions offered by our network of preferred outside lenders. We accept cash, cashier’s checks, or bank wire transfers for payments. No personal checks, e-checks, or card payments are accepted at this time.

What about using my personal bank or credit union?

Most banks will not finance these vehicles as they lack a standard 17-digit VIN and a book value. Customers are able to obtain personal loans from their financial institution and treat it as a cash transaction here. However, we highly recommend going through our trusted finance partner, Lightstream, as they can usually approve and fund faster than other banks.

Any additional fees?

We charge a flat $399 processing fee on every sale, and the buyer is responsible for paying any applicable sales tax in their state of registration.

I’ve secured funding; what’s next?

Time to reserve your vehicle! For finance buyers, a valid pre-approval is required to reserve a vehicle for up to one week (no cash required). Cash buyers can put a fixed amount down, which is based on the cost of the vehicle and is also good for a seven-day hold.

Vehicles under $10,000 – A $3,000 deposit is required.
Vehicles between $10,000-$20,000 – A $6,000 deposit is required.
Vehicles over $20,000 – An $8,000 deposit is required.

Need additional time to plan? We can reserve a vehicle for up to 30 days when paid in full. This amount is still FULLY refundable if you do not choose to proceed with the sale.

Not able to pay us a visit? Our team of trusted vehicle evaluators will go over the vehicle with a fine-toothed comb for you. Don’t fret—we disclose every nick, scuff and ding so you know exactly what will arrive in your driveway! We are also welcome to work with third-party inspectors that can arrive at our facility if you need a second opinion.

After an extensive test drive and testing out the offroad capabilities (80s series Land Cruisers are tanks), I was most impressed. I got back to the showroom and met with Dan, where next he got the truck put on a lift. I checked the complete undercarriage of the vehicle, no leaks anywhere, and the technicians gave me a rundown on what was completed and things I needed to be observant of. I soon departed and drove this baby home 200+ miles and then proceeded to drive it all over Raleigh (I was having too much fun). I parked the vehicle at my house and did what any would do: grabbed a flashlight and climbed under it! Surely being a car of this age, it would have some sort of issues? Incorrect; Japanese Classic LLC inventory, in my honest opinion, is the perfect example of “you get what you pay for.” All of my expectations were met, and I want to thank Dan personally for helping me purchase my dream vehicle.
