Exterior Overview
Affordable sports cars have been our thing for years, but they are getting harder to find by the day in Japan. If you want to save on the Supra or Skyline tax, we have some incredible options that will get your heart racing. Look no further than this 1999 Super Red (3P0) Celica. Powered by a zingy Yamaha-designed powerplant, this sporty six-speed manual coupe puts a smile on your face when rowing up and down the gears. Lowered on Blitz coilovers, this ride also boasts modern angular styling, accented by white 16″ Advan RC wheels, OEM rainguards, an OEM rear spoiler, an OEM optional front bumper, side skirts, and rear lip. Aside from a few light dings, chips, and scuffs, the Super Red paint is in good shape, and this terrific Toyota is turnkey and ready to rock after a comprehensive service. Offered with only 69k verified and documented miles on the clock, this JDM model has logged a fraction of the use of most American units. Reliable, fuel-efficient and fun, this two-door is a Japanese Classic to the core!

Interior Overview
The cabin is modern in its design, with its sculpted dash and upgraded Pioneer audio. The driver and passenger benefit from front SRS airbags for added peace of mind. The pilot can find the ideal seating position thanks to a tilt-adjustable steering column. The optional OEM steering wheel is nearly mint, and the dashboard lacks any cracking or fading. For improved daily use, the power folding mirrors, power locks, and power windows all work in typical Toyota fashion, and keyless entry keeps you from having to put your groceries down to access the cabin. The headliner is in good shape, as are the carpets, and the seat upholstery is in good nick. The front buckets are supportive, and the rear row split folds and lays flat to accommodate larger cargo. The digital climate system is easy to use and pipes in cold air conditioning and piping hot heat. Natural ventilation can be accessed through a sizable sunroof that tilts and retracts. The headliner, door cards, and carpets have withstood the past 25 years without sustaining major abuse. Clearly cared for overseas, the cabin will surely impress the new American buyer.

Mechanical Overview
Under the skin, this coupe is just as pretty as the exterior styling is. A nimble chassis, manual gearbox, and revvy 1.8L are a wonderful combination for a true motoring purist. The 2ZZ-GE under the bonnet is fresh off an oil service, and starts promptly with the twist of the key, courtesy of a new 12v battery. To keep the oil level on full, one of our trained techs installed a new valve cover gasket, and we chucked in some new spark plugs and a new MAF while we were in there. The mill runs like a top and pulls hard up to its nearly eight thousand rpm redline. A Kakimoto exhaust amplifies the Yamaha-engineered exhaust note and sounds great as you pilot this one up to highway speeds. A short shifter slots into gear predictably and the extra cog lowers the engine’s revolutions when cruising down the freeway. A fluid flush was performed for the transmission, too, just to add some peace of mind when rowing through the gears. The Blitz coilovers reduce fender gaps and ride well compared to other coilovers. The handling is flat and responsive, as it should be. It slows down impressively well with its optional ABS and large disc brakes. The power steering is light yet connected, and grip is handled by four nearly new summer tires. Lastly, we aligned the chassis. It tracks straight as an arrow and is a blast to motor about in. Turn key and ready to rock, this Celica would be a sweet daily driver or fun weekend canyon carver.
