Stock #6301Midsize, rear-drive sport sedans are hardly as well executed as the Altezza. It's the perfect size, it's balanced, and it puts a grin on your face when rowing through its six forward gears. This Millennium Silver (1C0) 1999 is also handsome, with its TRD optional front bumper, fog lights, side skirts, rear apron, and wing. Aside from a few light scuffs, chips, and dings the paint is in good nick and this five-seater is fresh off a recent service. Offered with a mere 96k verified and documented miles, this BEAMS-powered four-banger is barely broken in. For those looking for a nimble chassis, reliable drivetrain, and room for family and friends this Altezza is the answer. Purebred Japanese Classics usually break the bank yet this affordable RS200 is attainable, cool, and collectible. The cabin design is incredibly modern and this one has been cared for overseas. For better visibility, this non-navigation optioned model has a low-lying dash devoid of any cracking or fading. Dual SRS airbags are standard and both occupants up front have access to the intuitive automatic climate system and radio controls. The former of the two doles out cold A/C and piping hot heat and the latter pipes in the tunes. The driver benefits from a tilt adjustable steering column and power locks, electric folding mirrors, and power windows all work in typical Toyota fashion. The door cards are in good nick and match the upholstery on the seats. The cloth lacks any major rips, stains or tears and the material is durable, too. The carpets and headliner have withstood the past twenty-five years without taking much abuse and even the owner's manuals, and OEM carpet mats are on hand for the new buyer.Featuring near 50/50 weight distribution and rear drive, this is an inherently sporty platform. Tuned by the same gentleman who designed the legendary AE86, its hard not to like the communicative and chuckable chassis. Powered by a Yamaha-designed 3S-GE, this 2.0L springs to life with the twist of the key. Fresh off an oil and filter service, the revvy four pot pulls strong to redline and is blast at the higher RPM band. The 3S is linked to a notchy six-speed manual gearbox. The extra cog pays dividends on the highway and the Altezza is fuel efficient when it's not getting driven spiritedly. The suspension is predictable and the power steering provides tons of feedback. New lower ball joints were installed by one of our trained techs, and a fresh alignment was performed after. Sliders will fall in love with the limited-slip differential that comes standard on RS200 models and the brakes are delightful and confidently reel in this sedan when called upon. We replaced the fluid in the rear end so to bolster the driveline. The OEM wheels are wrapped in grippy Goodyear Eagle F1 rubber. There is plenty of tread on the tires and they allow the SXE10 to adhere to the road during spirited driving. We did want to note some light seepage on the oil pan but other than that this sedan is a gem! *California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
