Stock #6029Great for families on the go and those with the need to transport cargo in superior comfort, this 1998 RegiusAce is the ticket! You see, this lovely eight-seater is safe, spacious, and easy to service, and that's why we love it. Finished in a Super White (040) over Black two-tone, this hauler is set off by set of factory rainguards, a rare front parking pole, and a set of OEM refinished steel wheels. Aside from a few light dings, chips and scuffs the paint is in good shape and the platform boasts a scant 86k verified and documented miles on the clock. Powered by the same 2.7L four-banger as our stateside 4Runners and Tacomas, this recently serviced rig is turn key ready to roll off the lot. Affordable, trustworthy, and capable, this practical Japanese Classic is too cool for school and turns plenty of heads for a meager midsize minivan.   The cabin is in above-average shape and provides loads of room and includes tons of electric equipment. To start, the gray upholstery with OEM lace seat covers steal the show. The material is soft and lacks any major rips stains or tears. Rear occupants have their own heating and cooling systems and some neat flexible seating options like a swiveling middle row. The rear row also slides fore and aft to maximize the cargo area. Entry through the side door is easy and it will soft close to prevent your battery from draining when left ajar. The driver benefits from a clean view of the road ahead and an adjustable steering column. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading and includes centrally mounted automatic dual-zone climate controls and functional OEM audio. It also houses dual SRS airbags for those who may be safety conscious. Power windows, electric folding mirrors, and power door locks all function as advertised and make daily use more enjoyable. The headliner, door cards, and carpets have withstood the past 25 years without sustaining major abuse, and even the OEM floor mats are included with the purchase of this lovely little hauler. The powerplant was sold here in the US under the bonnet of several Toyota's, so maintaining the 2.7L is easy as pie. The good news is that we took care of a bunch of maintenance and repair items saving the new owner the expense of doing it themselves. The 3RZ-FE is fresh off an oil and filter service and churns to life care of a new 12v battery we installed here in our shop. A new engine air filter allows the four-pot to breathe freely and the engine is linked to a stout automatic gearbox. Just like a Supra, power is sent to the rear wheels, and the acceleration is better than you might expect. The 2.7L has decent midrange power and getting this thing up to safe highway cruising speeds is a stress-free and safe affair. The suspension benefits from new front upper control arms and rides soft yet predictable. The long wheelbase pays dividends when cruising on the freeway and the van feels more stable than shorter wheelbase HiAce cabovers. The ABS brakes are confident feeling and the power steering is light yet on point. The 15" steelies are wrapped in new all-season rubber at all four corners. The new tires reduce the road noise considerably and will provide tens of thousands of miles of year-round grip to come. *California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
