#6010When most people buy a mid-engine, RWD vehicle it doesn't have room for eight and a glass roof the size of Texas! This 1998 Estima is a do it all runabout, featuring reliable mechanicals, a nicely optioned and spacious cabin, and boasts an impressively low 59k verified and documented miles on the clock. Aside from a few small dings, chips, and scuffs the Alphard White over Gray (042) two-tone paint is in good shape overall, and this hauler is set off by OEM rainguards, snazzy privacy tint and a rare factory parking pole. Great for families who require dependable transportation, JDM lovers, and daily drivers alike this Toyota is a bonafide Japanese Classic. The cabin is quite impressive, and not just for its smart packaging and numerous electric amenities. This thing has it all! Dual airbags, a power soft close side door and OEM sonar! Can you believe this is a 1998 model? The dual front and rear moonroofs steal the show, with the rear unit power retracting at a moments notice for a convertible-like experience. If you prefer ice cold air conditioning, it's at the ready and this Toyota features a dual zone setup that is normally reserved for pricier vans. The seats are in above average shape and lack any major rips, stains or tears. The middle row folds flat and swivels to face the rear too! Power folding mirrors, power locks, and power windows make daily use more enjoyable and the driver even receives a tilt adjustable steering column. The OEM audio works like a charm if you want to drown out the kids for a while. The dashboard is in good shape and lacks any cracking or fading. The headliner, door cards, and carpets are in good shape too and even the owners manuals and maintenance booklets are included in the sale, as well. Built on a skinny version of the Estima/Previa platform, the Emina model is easier to park, and more efficient than its larger brother. Powered by the zingy 2TZ-FE this minivan is fresh off an oil and filter service, and churns to life quickly care of a new 12v battery we installed in our shop. To keep the 2.4L happy a new distributor O-ring and valve cover gasket was installed, and we also took care of a new fuel filter, engine air filter and new serpentine belts across the board. The four-pot is linked to a smooth shifting automatic that is responsive around town and also geared for sustained highway usage. The rear wheels to the driving and this Estima is much better balanced than you'd expect thanks to the mid-mounted driveline that is placed low in the chassis. The suspension can handle the rigors of daily use and abuse just fine and the ABS brakes have been improved with new front and rear brake pads and rotors. The steering is light yet on point and the power-assisted and a new driver side steering boot was replaced for good measure. The factory steelies are wrapped in freshly mounted all-season tires at all corners. The new rubber not only quiets down the ride but should last for tens of thousands of miles to come. *California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
