Interior Overview
For being 25 years young, we must commend the previous owner for pampering this J95, as it really shows within the cabin. The factory cloth upholstery is protected by fitted leather seat covers with mesh inserts for a sportier feel. Both front and rear seat arrangements are versatile to boot, and if you need to expand the cargo hold the middle row split folds and flips fully forward to maximize the amount of usable storage space. Designed with safety-conscious passengers in mind, the dash houses dual SRS airbags and the grey vinyl is no worse for the wear. Build quality is second to none, and the material is mirrored in the door cards, which have resisted punctures or scuffs typical of these models. For daily driving, the cabin is comfortable and packed with useful amenities. The center stack is trimmed in a classy factory woodgrain trim, and frames aftermarket Pioneer audio. For the domestic buyer not looking to do an immediate upgrade, rest assured Bluetooth is on hand to pump your own tunes into the cabin. To optimize comfort, an adjacent automatic climate control system also works well, and funnels cold A/C or hot heat into individual front and rear climate zones on command. If you prefer a more natural breeze, all power windows work as advertised, and daily use is made simple thanks to power locks and electric folding side view mirrors. Privacy tint complements the blacked-out aesthetic nicely, and overall it’s really hard to complain about the cabin. Even the OEM cargo security shade was retained and is included for the new owner.

Mechanical Overview
may notice the desirable factory intercooler resting atop the valve cover. For the benefit of the buyer, we’ve given the powertrain a full service, and a bit of rehab on items needed to pass state safety inspection. The 3.0TD churns to life, care of a new 12v battery, and a new intake air filter and fuel filter keep contaminants out of your combustion chamber. It’s also up to date on lubrication, with a fresh oil and filter service. It’s easy to see why these motors have become a fan favorite here in the US; they’re reliable, zippy, and perform well on the highway, to boot. An automatic gearbox makes shifting seamless, and the full-time 4WD is in good working order, with a proper transfercase, 4 low, and a standard locking center differential. We changed out a front right CV axle, and replaced a worn wheel bearing at the front left, too. This J95 carries itself well on and off pavement, with new Ironman rear shocks and springs to complement the lifted suspension setup. For some additional drivetrain rehab, the rear upper and lower control arms and rear panhard bar bushings were replaced to pass VA state safety inspection and aid handling. Furthermore, we removed the steering rack and fully rebuilt it with new seals, dropping in new inner and outer tie rods, boots, and rack bushings while we were in there. The ABS brakes stop on a dime, and the new 33″ Falken tires are full of tread and keep road noise entering the cabin to a minimum. After a fresh alignment, it’s safe to say this might be a perfect daily driver, primed and ready for years of enjoyment.
