Underpinned by the same stout four-banger seen in the Celica GT-Four and MR2 turbo, this 3S-GTE powered AWD wagon is a rocket, and our 1998 has racked up a scant 61k verified and documented miles over the years. Finished in Super White (040), and set off by an integrated front brush guard, dual rear spoilers, and OEM bumper spats, the exterior stands out from other plebeian stateside commuters, and the body shows hardly any imperfections outside of your typical scratch, scuff, or ding from daily use. A phenomenal hauler with strong mechanicals and an interior anyone can love, there's no going wrong with this Japanese Classic Caldina!

Versatile, comfortable, and primed for day-one daily driving, the interior of the Caldina is a real winner! The seats are upholstered in a charcoal cloth, with attractive multicolored accents. Unapologetically 90's, the seating surfaces have withstood the past couple of decades on the road without succumbing to any serious wear and tear. Redesigned in compliance with Toyota's next-generation design language, the black vinyl dash is tucked away nicely at the front of the cabin and houses dual SRS airbags for any safety conscious pilots or passengers. The center stack frames digital automatic climate control, and Panasonic audio. Trudging forward into the winter, the HVAC has hot heat on tap, and ice cold A/C for summers ahead. While the headunit powers on we do want to note audio is intermittent and the adjacent multifunction display has given up the ghost as well. For additional comfort behind the wheel, the driver can tilt the steering column at will. All four power windows work as advertised, as do the power locks and electronic folding side mirrors. The rear bench seats three additional passengers with ease and also reclines slightly if you need to pull over and catch some shuteye. Additionally, the cargo area has tons of space, and the rear bench folds fully flat for any impromptu runs to your local Tractor Supply. There's a whole lot to love about this Caldina's cockpit and not much to scrutinize. Even the OEM carpet mats are still in great shape and we retained the original owner's manual too!

Under the skin, this Caldina is a rally legend in sheep's clothing and is backed by Toyota's stout generation 4 3S-GTE. A notoriously reliable mill with a penchant for performance, this 3S is fresh off a huge comprehensive service by our trained technicians and cranks over with haste care of a freshly installed 12v battery. We've performed the notoriously labor-intensive timing belt and water pump service so you're covered for the next 10 years or 100,000 km. New serpentine belts drive your accessories reliably, and a new thermostat and radiator assist with thermal management on this 2.0T. A new fuel pump and filter were installed to rid your petrol of unwanted contaminants, and the engine air filter was replaced as well. Under throttle, this intercooled four banger is an absolute riot and feels just as quick as its other WRC brethren. A tiptronic automatic gearbox throws power swiftly to all four wheels and stays nicely in the powerband when you need it. The suspension soaks up road imperfections with ease and the steering is easy to navigate thanks to some new rack boots we installed. This sportwagon stops on a dime too, and we wrapped the factory alloys in fresh Falken rubber to ensure you won't come up short on grip for tens of thousands of miles to come!
