Exterior Overview
The Aristo is more than just a well rounded vehicle. It’s a true master of its craft, and set a benchmark for Toyota’s future luxury sedan offerings. This firebreathing twin-turbo V300 Vertex Edition is set off by some stylish cosmetic upgrades, performance enhancers, and sports 150k verified and documented miles on the clock. Finished in Black (202) the aesthetics are stylish, and this Aristo is set off by an FRP front lip, OEM rainguards, menacing privacy tint, and 19″ BBS LM wheels. Save for a few paint imperfections and swirls in the finish, as well as a noted front bumper replacement in Japan, this 25-year-old luxury sedan is no worse for the wear, and enthusiasts laud the Aristo for holding its own on a daily commute or in more demanding performance driving scenarios. The second-generation Aristo is a whole lot more than a comfortable cruiser. It’s a Supra sibling, car show standout, and most importantly, a textbook Japanese Classic!

Interior Overview
The two-tone cloth interior unique to the Vertex Edition is a highlight of this Toyota, and is jam packed with plenty of power amenities. Clearly cared for in a prior life, this sleek sedan is in above average shape overall and both driver and passenger can sit comfortably thanks to power adjustable seating up front. The driver also gains a power tilt and telescoping steering column, which is mated to a sleek blackwood steering wheel. Accented by complementary blackwood interior trim, the center stack is easy to navigate and features functional digital dual-zone climate control. Cold A/C is on tap for the spring ahead and the heat blows hot too. Adjacent to the HVAC, upgraded Pioneer audio sounds crisp and clear, and the dash materials are in good shape for their age, showing no cracks, fading, or distortion on the interior plastics. Dual front and side SRS airbags are present, giving your passengers some peace of mind, and occupants are treated to automatic power windows, locks, and electric folding side mirrors. The back seat is one of the more spacious benches we offer here at the dealership, and the trunk is sizable too. The headliner is tight and tidy and the factory carpet mats are on hand to protect your upholstery beneath. Additional extras come courtesy of an auto gauge boost gauge, and Greddy boost controller readout, to please the performance enthusiast!

Mechanical Overview
Under the hood, enthusiasts know the 2JZ-GTE is pure gold. This VVT-i equipped twin-turbo I-6 is a powerhouse shared with the Supra Twin Turbo, and ours boasts a few performance modifications and good preventative maintenance to get you on track for the road ahead. We addressed the biggest preventative maintenance item on these JZ’s, and replaced the timing belt and water pump with new units. Also replaced were the cam seals, crank seal, and valve cover gaskets to shore up any unwanted leaks of lubricant. We chucked in six new spark plugs, and changed out the HKS air filter element, and with the maintenance performed this Aristo jets up to highway speeds with haste and runs right as rain. A Greddy front mount intercooler cools the air from the factory twins, and a Fujitsubo exhaust emits a reserved tone under throttle. Shifts are commanded by a smooth shifting automatic gearbox, and we installed a new gasket on the transmission pan for good measure.Tein coilovers are responsive yet firm, and after a replacement of the steering rack bushings, right inner and outer tie rod, and ARS arms, the power steering is light, easy to articulate, and responsive. The ABS brakes bite with ferocity, and the front calipers were upgraded to increase stopping power. Lastly, we wrapped the BBS’ in fresh rubber and performed a fresh alignment up on the rack. Fast, fun, and functional, it’s hard to go wrong with a well serviced JZS161!
