Exterior Overview
A determined little rig, this Suzuki can get down and dirty with the big boys. You see, this 1998 Wide model is underpinned by straight axles, a ladder chassis, and surefooted 4WD. Finished in a classic Silky Silver Metallic (ZS2) this Jimny is set off by OEM rainguards, privacy tint, a front skid plate, a hard shell spare tire cover, polished Nerf bars, and a stylish rear bumper guard. Aside from a few light dings, chips, and scrapes the paint is in fine shape and this 68k verified and documented mile SUV is fresh off a recent service. Turn key and ready to roll, this little Ute would make for a fun beach toy, sweet city runabout, or cool chariot to wheel over to the local Cars & Coffee. Reliable, capable, and unique this special Suzuki is a Japanese Classic in the purist sense, and won’t break the bank!

Interior Overview
This Jimny feels like a regular SUV from the driver and passenger seat. Unlike most kei-sized vehicles, you can’t see beyond traffic and feel cramped when behind the wheel, but this truck isn’t that way. Cabin access is made more seamless with power locks. The dashboard is in good shape and lacks any cracking or distortion. The center stack is easy to reach and includes controls for A/C and heat, which work just as they should. If you prefer more natural ventilation, the front windows electrically power down to provide some additional airflow. Power locks and power mirrors work like a charm and make daily use as does the Bluetooth-equipped Pioneer head unit. The tan seats are in good nick and lack any major rips, stains, or tears. The same material is found in the door cards. The headliner and carpets are in good shape and even the OEM owner’s manual, maintenance booklets, and OEM tool kit are included with the purchase.

Mechanical Overview
Under the skin this Jimny is a real deal, rough-and-tumble SUV. Built atop a body on frame platform, this Suzuki can withstand loads of abuse and is highly capable, too. The G13B engine is one tough cookie and springs to life care of a new 12v battery. A fresh oil and filter service was performed, but we didn’t stop there. New spark plugs and a new engine air filter were chucked in to combust the fuel properly and the 1.3L pulls hard to redline. Torque is funneled through a stout automatic gearbox that shifts like it should. The driver can select between 2WD or 4WD and a low range is also available to keep you chugging forward when traction is low. One of our trained techs has refreshed the driveline with a fluid service on the front and rear differential. We also performed a fluid service on the transfer case. The suspension can handle the rigors of daily use and abuse, and the brakes feel confident when slowing down this rig. The power steering is light yet on point and the factory wheels are wrapped in brand new all-terrain TOYO rubber. Turn key and ready to roll, this tiny off-roader is an absolute beast!
