1998 Nissan Gloria Y33
Nissan can build an executive sedan as well as anyone in the business, and this 1998 demonstrates just that! Our Gloria is a prime example of the brand's commitment to building quality, refinement, safety, and reliability. Featuring classic rear-drive saloon proportions, and finished in a lovely Sonic Silver (KR4), this Y33 is in good shape aside from some dings, scuffs, and chips associated with normal use. Fresh off a recent service, this V6 example is offered with only 87k verified and documented miles on the clock. Perfect for blasting down the highway as a comfortable cruiser, and equally ideal as a cushy weekend cruiser, this special Japanese Classic is an affordable foray into the luxury segment that can't be beaten.
The cabin is clean, spacious, and includes several power amenities. For those who value safety, it should be mentioned that this sedan comes with dual front SRS airbags and side-impact airbags. The driver benefits from an electric seat and tilt-adjustable steering column to find the ideal driving position. Power windows, door locks, and mirrors make daily use more enjoyable and Eclipse audio upgrade adds some tunes to your commute. It also has an auxiliary input for your smartphone. Directly above is a simple-to-use digital automatic climate control system. Piping hot heat and cold A/C can be mixed and circulated throughout the cabin upon demand. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading and the door cards, headliner, and carpets have withstood major abuse over the past 25 years. Even the upholstery looks good and lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. It's soft to the touch and is in above-average condition. Aside from the power folding mirrors moving at a snail's pace and some light cloth damage on the driver-side sun visor, it's really hard to complain about this little gem.
This front-engine rear-drive layout is balanced, and the driving dynamics are top-tier. Powered by a compact and powerful VQ30DE, this five-seater has some get up and go! A new 12v battery aids ignition and the 3.0L is fresh off an oil and filter service. To keep all the lubricant internal one of our trained techs has replaced the valve cover gaskets and addressed a leaking rear main seal. The VQ is linked to a stout automatic gearbox that feeds power rearward. The gearbox shifts properly and acceleration is more than peppy. To ensure maximized fuel economy and horsepower a new engine air filter and new fuel filter were taken care of. We also gave the suspension a refresh, installing new rear shocks. The platform lacks many squeaks or rattles and feels unflappable at higher speeds, with its long wheelbase. standard ABS brakes slow this thing down with ease and the power steering is light and on point. A new right front inner tie rod and a set of new tires were installed prior to a fresh alignment. This sedan goes right where you point it and gobbles up interstate miles impressively well. The chassis inspires confidence and nearly everyone who purchased a Y33 daily drives and enjoys it for good reason!
