VIP sedans offer tons of bang for the buck. These well-appointed, smooth cruisers have loads of space, look unique, and can be found for a low initial cost of ownership. This 1998 Nissan Cedric would make for a reliable daily driver, a cool weekend cruiser, or a fun toy to modify even more. Set off by a set of Riverside Altstadt alloys lowered on coilovers, this Gran Turismo Ultima is finished in a stunning Sonic Silver Metallic (KR4). Fresh off a recent service, this sweet sedan boasts a mere 94k verified and documented miles. Aside from a few light dings, chips, and scratches the paint is in good shape and this turn-key four-door turns plenty of heads from stoplight to stoplight. Refined, affordable, and inexpensive to maintain this lead sled is a true Japanese Classic!

The cabin is spacious, full of features, and was well cared for in Japan. The ergonomics are decent, the gauges are easy to read, the switchgear is all within arms reach. The driver can get comfortable behind the wheel thanks to an adjustable steering column, and the driver's seat is powered for even more fine tuning.  The dashboard is in good shape, soft to the touch, and lacks any imperfections. Positioned in the center stack, Eclipse audio and an easy to use digital automatic climate control system work in tandem to make daily use a bit easier. As expected, the A/C blows ice cold and piping hot heat is on standby if needed. Dual SRS airbags are standard for those riding up front and will add some peace of mind. If you plan to daily drive this Cedric, power folding mirrors, electric door locks, and power mirrors are all in good working order. The upholstery is also in above average shape, and lacks any major rips, stains or tears. The textured gray cloth is soft to the touch, and is quite comfortable over longer hauls. The headliner, door cards, and carpets have resisted major abuse and stand as a testament to the care this vehicle received overseas. Even the OEM owners manual is on hand for the new owner!

As with any proper luxury sedan, this Nissan was designed with a front-engine, rear-drive layout. Powered by the lightweight and punchy VQ30DE, this five-seater is peppy around town and cruises effortlessly on the highway. The V6 is fresh off an oil and filter service, the powerplant cranks over the care of a new 12v battery. A new fuel filter, engine air filter, and fuel pump were replaced to keep this thing running seamlessly. To ensure the oil stays on full, one of our trained techs has replaced the weary old valve cover gaskets with new ones. The 2987cc mill is linked to a stout, smooth-shifting automatic gearbox. The power-assisted steering is light yet on point and the standard ABS brakes halt this car in a jiffy. While firmer than stock, the aftermarket dampers feel predictable and well connected to the pavement. The stylish alloys are all wrapped in new Falken all-season rubber, mounted and balanced at all four corners, and a fresh alignment was performed to get this one tracking straight as an arrow!
