If you're in the market for a fun, tossable midship sports car, you generally have two options. Sure you could shell out for a European exotic, but this 1995 Toyota MR2 is a much more viable choice. Sporting a punchy turbocharged four banger mounted in the center of the axles and timeless styling, Toyota's second generation Midship Runabout 2 Seater is a fantastic bang for your buck and may just return the highest smiles per gallon out of anything we sell. Finished in Super White (040), the exterior shows well overall, and an OEM rear spoiler and front lip does a lot to spruce up the aesthetic a bit. Rolling on a set of 16"/17" staggered SSR Integral A2 wheels and Cusco coilovers closing up any unwanted fender gap, the outside is quite easy on the eyes if you can see past a couple expected age-related dents chips and imperfections in the paint. Even better, this one touts only 95k verified/documented miles on the clock and is fresh off an extensive recent service. Sporty, stylish, and built to perform, the SW20 MR2 is a Japanese Classic like no other.

The interior is purposefully designed and assumes an almost cockpit-esque aesthetic. The factory cloth seats are nicely bolstered, including the upgraded reclinable Bride unit in the driver's position, and the remaining interior materials are finished off in a sleek black vinyl. The dash shows no cracking to note, although some expected UV fade is present on some of the plastics. Additionally, the headliner and carpets are mostly damage-free save for a stain or two here and there. The lower dash trim houses functional Kenwood audio and a simple to use automatic climate control system. For a summer cruiser, Cold A/C works like a charm and hot heat is at the ready should you need it for the fall and winter months. Both power windows roll up and down with ease and power locks and power mirrors add a touch of accessibility to the already well appointed cabin. Additionally, the T-Tops can be detached if you prefer to feel the wind in your hair. The driver benefits from a tilt adjustable steering column, and a Sparco steering wheel allows larger drivers to fit comfortably in the cockpit. Overall, Toyota really knocked it out of the park with this interior design, and it's nice to see this one was well cared for in a prior life too, although we wanted to note an inaccurate tachometer. We've even retained the sought after factory "Man in Dandism" floormats for the next enthusiast to cherish for life!

Under the rear decklid, the 3S-GTE is primed and ready. Fresh off a recent inspection and service by our trained technicians, this 2.0 I-4 has had a few key pieces of maintenance performed to make it a fine candidate for the road ahead. She starts up with ease care of a new 12v battery up front, and the engine was removed for a full refresh including a new OEM timing belt and water pump. To shore this one up against any unwanted leaks of lubricant, the cam and crank seals were replaced, and a fresh oil and filter service was topped off to ensure smooth operation. A new engine air filter and fuel filter were the finishing touches needed to keep any pesky contaminants out of the 3S. With the maintenance performed this one takes off like a rocket to highway speeds and the 5 speed manual gearbox leaves little to be desired as the shifts are short and direct. Power is hammered down to the rear wheels, and the coilovers deliver exceptional cornering throughout more demanding twists and turns. Keeping the drivetrain in compliance are new front lower ball joints and new inner and outer tie rods on the front left. Rounding off the laundry list of recon is a brand spanking new set of Falken tires, and a fresh four wheel alignment, sure to keep this one tracking straight as an arrow and gripping strong for tens of thousands of miles to come!
