This 1998 Suzuki is more than a cute Ute. It's actually designed as a tough body-on-frame rig that is maneuverable, motivated, capable, and incredibly unique. Finished in a stately Polar White (26U) this Jimny is set off by OEM rainguards, a Fisher-Price sized factory bash bar, and subtle rear privacy tint. Aside from some clear coat fading, dings, and scratches this tiny 4x4 is in good shape overall. Fresh off a recent service, this honest little hauler is offered with a measly 46k verified and documented miles on the clock. Fresh off a recent service, this sporty Suzuki would make for a cool little rock crawler, fun city runabout, or all-weather errand runner. Big on style and low on price, this Japanese Classic is the real McCoy!

For such a diminutive SUV the cabin feels surprisingly normal. Although not as wide as your run-of-the-mill truck, it has oodles of headroom and plenty of foot space. The tall ride height allows you to look into traffic rather than up at it, and the dashboard lacks any fracking or fading. Dual passenger gloveboxes can accommodate your knickknacks, and the center climate controls are all close by and at hand. A/C is available for a summer excursion ahead and the heat can be cranked when necessary late in the year. Power windows make daily use more enjoyable and power locks and power mirrors work like a charm, too. An Addzest radio upgrade supplies the cabin with tunes and the rest of the interior is just as it left the factory. The soft textured tan upholstery is in good shape aside from some minor scuffs, and a little bit of missing stichwork on the upper corner of the driver bucket. The rear seats fold away too if you need to accommodate larger cargo and the rear door swings out wide to gobble up baggage. Even the owner's manual is in included in the sale for originalities sake and its clear this Jimny was cared for in a prior life!

Unlike most vehicles in this segment, this model is built on a ladder-style body on frame platform, which delivers heaps more off-road capability than most of this Suzuki competitors. This little bugger is powered by the frugal and reliable G13B four cylinder. This 1298cc mill is fresh off an oil and filter service and starts up care of a new 12v battery. New spark plugs, serpentine belts, and a new alternator assist this four-banger in its seemless operation, and we didn't stop there! One of our trained techs has installed a new front main seal, to prevent future leaks, and we also resealed the oil pan. With the 1.3L on the up-and-up, we focused our attention on the transfercase. While up on the lift we replaced the output seals on the unit to ensure the ability to switch into whatever drive configuration is necessary for the task at hand. The system is easy to operate, and the Jimny has the ability to select between 2WD, 4WD High, or 4WD Low. If maximizing fuel economy is the goal, the rear wheels can be powered alone and this tiny terror is fairly frugal. The suspension has been improved too with new shocks out back. The approach angle is awesome for those looking to explore some rocky terrain and there is ground clearance aplenty. The brakes are confident and the power steering is on point and light. Lastly, new Falken tires were mounted and balanced at all four corners. The new rubber reduces road noise and will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
