Always a top-tier value, the C35 is a refined, reliable, and spacious vehicle. This 1998 offers a highly stylized cabin, a stout six-cylinder driveline, and numerous safety features. Finished in a stately Bluish Black Pearl (KJ6), this sedan is set off by a set of OEM rainguards and subtle privacy tint. Aside from a few light dings and scrapes this trusty five-seater is no worse for the wear and is fresh off a recent service including a brand new water pump and timing belt. Turn key and ready to roll, this Nissan touts an incredible 34k verified and documented miles on the clock. Clean, comfortable, and affordable, this wonderful rear-drive Laurel is a super sweet Japanese Classic that's practical and turns plenty of heads, too!
The cabin is impressive for so many reasons. The number of features, and the overall condition is stellar. The highlight of the cabin has to be the rare tobacco colored factory suede and cloth combo seats and door inserts. They are in above-average condition and lack any major rips, stains, or tears. The same perforated material is mirrored in the door cards, as well, and a cushy leather-wrapped center armrest makes for a premium feel while riding up front. The dashboard lacks any imperfections such as color fading or cracking and dual SRS airbags are standard for those who may be safety conscious. A classy wood grain wheel feels good in the palms of your hands and is mounted atop an adjustable steering column. Paired with an electric adjustable driver's seat, the pilot can always find the optimal driving position. Power windows, power door locks, and power-folding mirrors all make daily use enjoyable and work like a charm. That's not to say that everything is functional, as the OEM radio has given up the ghost. On the positive side the digital automatic climate control above works in typical Nissan fashion. Cold A/C can be blasted for the summer ahead and heat utilized for winter. The carpet and headliner are also in good nick, as this Club S was clearly cared for in a prior life. We even have the maintenance manuals and owners booklets on hand in the glovebox, for the new owner to enjoy.
This balanced and stout chassis is mated perfectly with the silky smooth RB25 Neo under the bonnet. Fresh off a recent service, the 2.5L churns to life with nary a vibration. Ignition is aided by a new 12v battery and one of our trained techs has also replaced the serpentine belts to ensure the accessories stay properly powered. A new fuel pump and fuel filter keep the RB25DE supplied with clean petrol, as well. So that the next owner can rest easy, the timing belt and water pump were replaced here at our dealership as preventative maintenance. This costly service we have performed will save the new owner some coin! Paired with smooth-shifting automatic, power is sent to the rear wheels, as it should be in a proper luxury saloon. The suspension insulates the cabin from road and handles large and small potholes alike with confidence. The steering is light yet connected and the standard ABS brakes clamp down with plenty of force. The multispoke factory alloys are wrapped in new Falken rubber at all four corners. The new all season tires reduce road noise, and will deliver tens of thousands of miles of grip for years to come.
