The Toyota Celsior was the flagship sedan of Toyota's line up in the 90's and into the 00's. The top of the line executive sedan featured options that many modern cars aren't equipped with still. Best of all they are known for being over engineered and as reliable as the day is long. This 1997 Toyota Celsior is a prime example of a well-maintained executive sedan and offered with an incredibly low 37K verified and documented miles. The Diamond White Pearl (051) exterior is spectacular and appealing, even with few minor chips or scratches from daily use. Notable repairs in Japan include new right side doors and a new right front fender. Sitting on OEM air suspension with 20" Work Schwertz wheels combined with aftermarket Aimgain aero this Celsior is certainly VIP status. An aftermarket air ride controller was installed by the previous owner in Japan, allowing for the ride height to be adjusted from inside the cabin with the press of a button. This iconic Japanese classic will surely keep the next owner satisfied and happy either daily driving or as a weekend cruiser.

Inside the cabin, your eyes are immediately captured by the well-kept leather seating, that provides maximum comfort to all passengers. Loaded with plenty of factory options you'll find long road trips a joy. The power seats adjust with the push of a button allowing the driver to find the optimal seating position quickly and easily. The driver even has memory seat availability with buttons on the door to save the settings. If needed the driver has the ability to move the front passenger seat thanks to the power seat buttons located on the center side of the passenger seat. For those living in colder climates, this Celsior also comes equipped with factory seat warmers as well. The dashboard is in good nick lacking any major fading, lifting, bubbling, or cracking which is common in 25-year-old vehicles. The OEM head unit works as advertised although frequencies are limited in the U.S., luckily this vehicle has a 6-disc CD changer installed from the factory allowing the next owner to play their tunes. The screen doubles as a digital automatic climate control ready to blast cold A/C or hot heat, to keep you comfortable no matter the weather outside. The rare factory optional air purifier is also present and functional allowing passengers to have clean purified air with the press of a button. Power windows, power locks, power-folding mirrors, power mirrors, and de-icing are all readily available and function properly. Safety was also heavily incorporated when making this luxury sedan. Toyota installed SRS airbags in the dash, steering wheel, and even on the sides of the front seats.

Toyota's luxurious executive sedan is powered by the strong and reliable 4.0L V8 1UZ-FE paired with a smooth-shifting automatic gearbox. A new 12V battery and fresh oil and filter service make this V8 turn over seamlessly. The V8 makes this Celsior quick and responsive, making quick work of overtaking or merging. A one-off exhaust system was installed with custom tips that suit the aero, and sounds perfect. The factory air suspension soaks up road imperfections with ease and makes for a comfortable ride. The prior owner in Japan had an aftermarket air ride controller installed allowing you to raise or lower the vehicle as desired. Two new front tires were mounted and balanced and a new set of front rotors and brake pads were installed by our technicians and we performed a fresh alignment at ride height.
