Exterior Overview

Interior Overview
The Prado interior is spacious and filled with quality materials. The dashboard is set off by an OEM field monitor that displays info about the outside conditions should you lose cell service. The driver benefits from a tilt-adjustable steering column and adjustable lumbar to find the ideal driving position. The center stack is close by and an upgraded Kenwood audio system pipes in the tunes and sounds great. Smartphone users will love the USB and auxiliary integration, which is better for hands-free cell use while motoring. Below a digital automatic climate system streams cold AC and piping hot heat. Faux wood trim adds some contrast and breaks up the interior color palette. Dual SRS airbags are standard as are ABS brakes to bring this rig to a safe stop. Optioned with the desirable third row the gray and blue cloth upholstery is in good shape and lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. The same material is found in the door cards which are in good nick too. Power windows, power locks, power-folding mirrors, and an electric sunroof all work in typical Toyota fashion making daily use enjoyable. The carpets and headliner are in good condition too. Even the owner’s manuals and maintainable booklets are included with the purchase of this Land Cruiser.
Mechanical Overview
Closely related to our domestic 4Runners, these tough rigs are easy to service and find parts for. The intercooled 1KZ-TE is a gem of an engine, and is fresh off a recent oil and filter service. The 3.0L chugs to life care of two new 12v batteries and benefits from a new fuel filter. To keep the electronics reliably powered we installed new accessory belts and one of our trained techs then gave the 1KZ a refresh. A new valve cover gasket was installed, and we took care of the half-moon seals while we were in there. The four banger makes incredible torque and is linked to a five speed manual gearbox. The unit lacks any grinds or hitches and gives the driver a level of control not present in those equipped with the old slushbox. A Full-Time 4WD system delivers all the grip you’ll ever need and a low-range gear plus the optional center locking differential are ready to be deployed for the off-road die hards. The ride is softer and more luxurious than a Surf and the Prado is riding on brand new front shocks we installed when it was on the lift. We also replaced the rear upper control arms and rear sway bar bushings prior to state inspection. The power steering is light and on point, and new steering rack bushings were chucked in to improve the feel. The ABS brakes feel confident and road adhesion is handled by four new freshly mounted and balanced 31″ all terrain Falkens. A fresh alignment ensures their life is maximized, and this rig drives straight as an arrow!

CARB certifications will have to be performed within the state. Depending on the vehicle and any existing modifications will affect the pricing. Typically CARB compliance will range between 5-10K.
