The 2.7L churns to life care of a new 12v battery and is fresh off an oil and filter service. A new valve cover gasket will ensure that every drop of lubrication stays within the 3RZ and we also repaired the oil pump seal and distributor o-ring. Thermal management is handled by a new radiator and thermostat. The automatic transmission shifts like a dream and power can be sent to the rear axle or both depending on the driver's preference. For sticky situations with low traction or loose surfaces, a low-range 4WD can also be utilized. Acceleration is decent and merging up to highway speeds is stress-free. Reeling in the Hilux from freeway speeds in not an issue, and the ABS braking system benefits from new pads and rotors up front. The alloys are all wrapped in new 31" Falken rubber.
