The R33 Skyline never gets its due, but it's well worthy of the legendary Skyline nameplate and badge. This 1996 is simply stunning, finished in classic Nissan White (QM1). Set off by a set of OEM rainguards and OEM midrise wing, the body is in good shape aside from some light scratches and scuffs associated with normal use. Packing a few pricey performance upgrades, this sporty and eye-catching coupe is fresh off a recent service and turn-key ready to roll. Offered with only 108k verified miles, this Series 2 GTS25-t is an enthusiast's dream, with its desirable close-ratio five-speed gearbox and potent 2.5L turbocharged six-cylinder. Featuring top-tier driving dynamics, easy-to-source parts, and a clean, safe and spacious cabin, it's hard to deny this Nissan sportscar is anything but a Japanese Classic.

The cabin has been taken care of over the years and is quite well-optioned. Those who plan to daily drive will enjoy the electric folding mirrors, power locks, power windows, and adjustable steering column. They all work as advertised and compliment a functional Carrozzeria head unit. The dash is in good nick and lacks any cracking or distortion. Atop it sits a passenger-side front SRS airbag for some added peace of mind, and the driver has one as well! The automatic climate control is simple to use and functions well. The OEM R33 GT-R front bucket seats deliver on a more aggressive feel and lack any major imperfections, such as rips, stains, or tears. They are an expensive upgrade as the Nissan die-hards will tell you! The back seats look good as well, and like many two doors were likely used infrequently. The headliner, door cards, and carpets have withstood major abuse over the years. There is some wear on the steering wheel and interior plastics, but that stuff is fairly common for vehicles of this age. It even includes the Japanese owner's manuals, which still sit in the glove box.

Prop open the bonnet and you'll find one of Nissan's best-designed powerplants of all time. The RB25DET makes plenty of power and runs smoothly, with hardly a vibration. Fresh off an oil and filter service the 2.5L springs to life with the twist of a key. A new 12v battery is on hand that should last for years to come and a new thermostat was installed by one of our trained techs. The RB sounds great thanks to an aftermarket intake and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox that transfers the power to the rear wheels. The next owner will be relieved to hear we have installed a new clutch to give the driveline a fresh lease on life. When the pilot lays on the throttle the Skyline really moves. Getting up to highway merging speeds is a blast and happens all too quickly. Thanks to the long wheelbase, the Nissan is comfortable and stable at high speeds. The suspension is predictable and benefits from new rear HICAS arms and a fresh alignment. HKS Hipermax coils keep the balanced coupe flat through the twisties and the amount of grip is much greater than a stock example! The brakes feel confident and the power steering is light yet on point. The 17" Volk Racing Challenge F-Zero alloys complete the look. Inlaid in blue, they are all wrapped in new tires at all four corners. The new rubber quiets the ride down noticeably and will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
