As one of the most popular luxury sedans in Japan, the Nissan Gloria Y33 Gran Turismo definitely lives up to the hype. Nissan's infamous reliability, comfort, and ease of ownership were way ahead of its time. The Gloria has a desirable combination of luxury and refinement with a hint of sportiness added into the mix. The body lines flow well from the four rounded headlights, only available on the Gran Turismo model, to its sleek bodylines which finish at the unique and attractive taillights. Finished in the White Pearl Tricoat (QN0) the paint is in amazing shape but does have some blemishes on the hood which has been previous replaced from rock chips and road use. OEM Nissan rainguards and privacy tint only add to the luxury aesthetic. Equipped with plenty of safety and tech features, this sedan would make for a spacious and sublime five-seater to take a day trip or vacation in. Legally imported and recently serviced, this executive class sedan would be a wonderful daily driver or weekend toy as well and is a certified Japanese Classic.

The interior of the Gloria mirrors the exterior of being in its stock form. These came with all of the luxury amenities you'd expect in a proper GT. It is clear that the previous owner of this Y33 took immaculate care and it shows. Woodgrain trim surrounds the center console as well as the door controls. Door cards are in pristine condition with fully functional power windows and locks. The mirror adjustments work as they should along with the ability to fold the mirrors in for close city parking. The dash is in good shape and has no cracks or distortion from the sun. The seats are upholstered in a textured light grey cloth and don't show much bolster wear. The dark-colored carpets are in tip-top shape. The front driver and passenger seats have power seat controls but the passenger side reclining function is no longer functional. Climate control is fully functional with cold A/C to help keep all passengers comfortable especially with summer around the corner. The radio has been upgraded to a Pioneer AVIC-V07 and works as expected playing tunes through all speakers in the car. The rear side and back glass are tinted which helps reduce the heat and gives the passengers privacy. While it's not legal to tint the front windows in Japan, depending on your state laws, having the front to match would make this one tough-looking VIP sedan. Not to say the vehicle is in perfect shape, as there is some surface rust we found under the spare tire inside the trunk that we wanted to note which is a common issue on these older Nissans. On the positive side, it does have dual SRS airbags, which were uncommon at the time although we do hope you won't ever need to use them!

Under the hood of this luxury sedan is a turbocharged 3.0 liter V6 (VQ30DET). Unlike many Y33s this engine was lightyears ahead of the VG it replaced and made more power and was more efficient. The V6 fires up with no hesitation and comes with ample torque on the low end to entertain the driver until the turbo fully spools. The automatic transmission shifts with ease in and out of gears and is responsive to the driver's throttle input. You will find that the transmission does offer selective drive modes for snow, normal, or sport driving which changes the shift points and offers a tailored driving experience based on your needs. The vehicle has a stunning 40k verified and documented miles which further explains the great condition of this car. The car has been looked over mechanically by our trained technicians and performed a routine oil and filter change along with new tires on all four corners. The ABS light is currently on, and ABS is not currently functional. Other maintenance bits performed were a new 12V battery, a new engine air filter, and new serpentine belts under the hood. For a driver that is looking for a great combination of a luxury sedan and multi-purpose vehicle that is turn-key ready, this Nissan Y33 Gran Turismo is a true Japanese Classic in every aspect.
