Rivaling most german marques of the time, Nissan pulled out all the stops with their introduction of the Y33 chassis. Boasting more power and amenities than the competition, and still maintaining the same great build quality, models like this 1996 Cima are a sure bet! This luxury sedan sports only 36k verified documented miles, and is a great example of the platform. Finished in White Pearl (QT1), the exterior is offset by OEM rainguards and a killer set of Bronze 18" Carlssons. Purists will enjoy that the body is devoid of any unnecessary aftermarket components, and aside from some expected paint chips, a missing hood emblem, and a prior replacement of the left rear door in Japan there's not much to turn your nose up at anyways. A reliable and refined luxury barge that checks all the boxes, the Y33 Cima is a Japanese Classic by all means, and is a whole lot of car for the dollar!

Trimmed in a plush cognac cloth, this Cima's cabin boasts modern amenities such as power reclining rear seats, an integrated touch screen multifunction display, and digital instrumentation, just to name a few. The factory upholstery on the seats assumes a velvet like texture and has fortunately resisted any major wear, save for some minor discoloration over the years. The rest of the materials are in good nick, from the headliner to the carpets below. Offset by wood accent trim, the dash shows well and even houses dual front and side SRS airbags for some added safety behind the wheel. An OEM optional MOMO wheel is mounted to a power tilt steering column which electrically telescopes too! Nestled in the center stack is a trick factory multifunction display which seamlessly integrates automatic climate control and the factory audio. It also features a retro interface sure to be the talking point of any future drives with new passengers. To make life a bit easier, the A/C blows cold and heat is hot, and all four power windows are functional alongside power locks and power mirrors. Originally designed as a VIP hauler, the reclining rear bench in the Cima is more than adequate for transporting passengers and even grants your rearward occupants their own independent climate and radio controls. The trunk offers plenty of additional space for luggage, groceries, or other cargo as well! Save for some typical wear on the touch points, there's not much to scrutinize in the cabin. Even the factory keyless entry works, making entry and exit a breeze!

Nissan's VQ30DET was as advanced a powerplant as any for its time, and stateside enthusiasts will certainly enjoy that the majority of servicing is shared with USDM Nissans. Fortunately, we've handled the initial maintenance on this beast and this 3.0L is ripe and ready for the road ahead! To start, our trained technicians replaced the 12v battery to ensure the alternator was functioning properly. Any active fluid leaks were nipped in the bud, and we replaced the rear main seal before topping it off with a fresh oil/filter service. Two new serpentine belts were installed and she now settles into a smooth confident idle. The VQ30 is a rocketship of a mill, and shoots up to highway speeds without issue thanks to some freshly installed spark plugs. We also changed the fuel pump, and a new fuel filter and engine air filter provide a bit of a preemptive tune-up so you can enjoy this Y33 from day one! Power is hammered down to the rear wheels through a smooth-shifting automatic gearbox that also remains quite composed at highway speeds as well. To shore up the suspension a bit, we've replaced the rear struts and right rear toe arm, and this one glides over road imperfections with ease. The ABS brakes are responsive and work like a charm when you need to hit a quick 60-0. Lastly, we've mounted and balanced four brand-new Falken tires at all our corners. The new rubber quiets down the ride and will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
