Stock #6007
Stock #6007This low-mileage 1996 Granvia is an excellent value, providing an ideal platform for year-round reliable 4WD transportation and an incredibly refined ride. Finished in a lovely Spruce Silver Metallic over Evergreen Pearl two-tone (2PB), this rig is set off OEM rainguards, a stylish rear spoiler, polished factory alloy wheels, and matching decals. Best of all this freshly serviced one-owner is offered with a mere 46k verified and documented miles on the clock. Meant to feel as smooth as a luxury car, this safe and spacious G Type is highly practical and is known for its low cost of ownership and top-tier build quality. Unique and useful Japanese Classics are usually a lot more expensive, and this special eight-seater is a serious steal compared to other vans in this exact same segment! While related to the HiAce the Granvia utilizes a completely different interior design and layout. For safety's sake, the wheelbase was lengthened and a crash structure was created upfront. Dual airbags were made standard and the stretched front-end creates a flat loading floor within the cabin, from the tailgate to the center stack. This means more room for cargo, kids, and pets. If you plan to take a road trip with a full crew, rest assured this Toyota is plenty comfortable. Dual zone heat and A/C can be cycled with ease thanks to the digital climate setup. Even rear occupants have their own controls, so the driver can keep their full attention on the road ahead instead of fiddling with the controls. Those in the back also have some wonderful flexible seating options. Both rows slide fore and aft and the middle row can be swiveled 180 degrees to face the rear. Additionally, both rows fold flat together, creating a makeshift mattress to catch some sleep under the stars. Look above from the middle row and you'll see an expansive glass sunroof assembly. While the motor is dead, it does seal out water from the outside and adds loads of natural light making the cabin feel more expansive. Airflow through the cabin is improved further thanks to pop-out side glass, a manual front sunroof, and power windows. All these items work like a charm, as do the power locks and electrically adjustable side mirrors. Saving the best for last, we figured we'd mention the upholstery which is in above-average shape. The material lacks any major rips, stains, or tears and is soft to the touch. The headliner, door cards, and carpets appeared to have been cared for in a prior life. We didn't want to note that while the aftermarket audio does work it lacks functionality here in the States and the power folding function of the side mirrors no longer works. On the positive side, the OEM carpet mats and owners manuals have been retained so we could pass them on to the American buyer. Clean and well cared for, it's obvious the only owner of this van took decent care of it and it shows!Surefooted and smooth at higher speeds, you can see why these Toyotas make for such good daily drivers. When snow and sleet pound your local roads, this Toyota is truly up to the task. Powered by a durable, powerful, and efficient four-cylinder, this 3.0L is fresh off an oil and filter service. The 1KZ-TE turns over promptly with the twist of the key, and a new battery was just installed and will last for several years to come. A new fuel filter keeps unwanted contaminants out of the engine and the 1K pulls strong as an ox to redline. The 2982cc mill is linked to a smooth-shifting auto and a Full-Time 4WD system. It accelerates well for its size and happily sustains higher freeway speeds without feeling taxed. The suspension is predictable, quiet, and insulates nicely against larger potholes and road imperfections. New front upper ball joints have been installed by one of our trained techs and the Granvia has been aligned as well to promote long tire life. The ABS brakes are confident and the power steering is light, making parking a snap. New 27" Yokohama rubber has been mounted and balanced at all four corners. The new tires quiet down the ride significantly and will provide tens of thousands of miles of grip for years to come!*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
