The Toyota Celsior has long been hailed as the most reliable car ever built. There are multiple examples running around with over a million miles on the original engine. If you are looking for an executive sedan that is the pinnacle of Toyota craftsmanship, look no further than this UCF20. Our example is a recent trade-in we originally sold and boasts a mere 50k verified and documented miles. Even better, a slew of recently performed maintenance items will give the next owner ultimate peace of mind. The exterior is finished in Toyota's iconic Diamond White Peal two-tone (051), and is in fantastic shape, aside from some minor imperfections from normal use over the years. The Toyota Celsior exudes luxury and was ahead of its time with tons of electric amenities and safety features that were hard to find. One thing is for sure, the UCF20 Celsior would make for one hell of a weekend cruiser or daily driver, and most certainly is a certified Japanese Classic.
Inside the cabin, you'll find Toyota's executive cloth-trimmed seats, and plenty of power amenities. The seats are trimmed in a soft gray upholstery and was a more expensive option than leather at the time. There are no major imperfections in the seats and only light signs of use. The door panels and dash are in equally good condition with no cracks, rips, or tears, and no major UV damage. The factory automatic digital climate control works excellent and provides cold A/C or hot heat on demand. Keyless entry, power windows, locks and power-folding mirrors all work as advertised and make daily use enjoyable. Even the seat belt adjusters are electric! This Celsior even has an OEM air purifier and OEM privacy curtains and both function properly. Additionally, the cruise control works and a USDM cruise control ECU was installed to allow for the cruise control to function at US highway speeds. You'll also be delighted to find the OEM owner's manual and maintenance book included in the glove box along with a spare key. The optional (and hard to find) OEM floor mats are even included and in great condition. It doesn't get much better than the interior of this Toyota Celsior!
Powering this UCF20 is the silky smooth 1UZ-FE V8. The engine needs no introduction and is unbelievably reliable. Best of all a ton of recent maintenance was performed within the last 5k miles include: a new water pump, new timing belt, new timing belt tensioner, new serpentine belt, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new thermostat, new PCV valve, new front main seal, new cam seals, new distributor cap and rotor, new upper and lower radiator hoses, new front and rear pads and rotors, new front ball joints, new inner and outer tie rods, and even a fresh ceramic coating applied to the paint. All that is left is to get in and enjoy this marvel of engineering and Toyota design. Acceleration is excellent for a large executive sedan, and road trips will be among the most comfortable you have ever had. It doesn't get much better than this amazingly maintained Toyota Celsior!
