As our volume leader, the Surf offers many benefits for our US clients. Typically lower mileage and in better shape than our domestic 4Runners, these trucks are inexpensive to own and easy to service. This 1995 also includes the hotshot 1KZ-TE turbodiesel, which is underpinned by surefooted selective 4WD. Finished in a Desert Dune Metallic (1A5) this narrow body is set off by Vision D-Window wheels shod in new 31" Falken tires and some subtle chrome fender trim. Fresh off a recent service, this rig boasts a mere 124k verified and documented miles on the clock. Reliable, stylish efficient, powerful, and tough, this Japanese Classic would make for a killer year-round hauler or cool campsite cruiser. Turn key and ready to roll, this SUV does just about everything well, and is highly collectible to boot!

The cabin utilizes a simple design and has plenty of space and power amenities. The dashboard houses dual SRS airbags for some added peace of mind and lacks any cracking or fading. Upgrades include a faux Rolls Royce LED headliner and faux wood accents on the steering wheel. The driver benefits from a tilt-adjustable steering column and the OEM seats include adjustable lumbar support. The material used in the door cards and seats is a durable, Moon Mist-colored cloth. It lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. The rear bench can tumble forward and fold flat for maximum cargo capacity and also 4-way reclines for rear seat comfort. This Surf is equipped with an automatic climate control system that pipes hot heat and cold A/C through the cabin. For more natural ventilation, the rear glass powers downward and the windows are all electric. Other power features include power mirrors and locks which work in typical Toyota fashion. That's not to say the cabin is perfect as some light carpet staining should be noted, and some driver-side bolster wear is present on the front driver's bucket. We also wanted to note the speedometer works intermittently, but we will include a digital speedometer for the new owner. Still, at 25 years old the cabin is in good shape overall and was cared for overseas.

Under the skin, this SUV shares most major mechanicals with our stateside 4Runners. This example was optioned with the most desirable engine, the 1KZ-TE. Fresh off an oil and filter service, this 3.0L churns to life care of a new 12v battery. To keep all the lubricant internal to the four-banger, one of our trained techs has replaced the leaking valve cover gasket with a new one. A new engine air filter and a new fuel filter work to maximize MPG and horsepower and the 1K feels strong as an ox. Power is fed through an automatic transmission to the rear wheels or all four. For low traction situations high and low range 4WD can be selected on the fly. The ABS brakes do a wonderful job slowing down this rig and the power steering is light yet on point. New rear sway bar end links were installed for state inspection, too. The brand new 16" wheels are wrapped in new Falken all-terrain rubber. The new tires quiet down the road noise and most importantly will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
