Finished in a stately Silver Metallic (H81), the exterior wears OEM rainguards, and tidy factory alloys wrapped in brand spanking new Falken all-terrains. Save for some slight paint chips and fade spots, the exterior has stood the test of time and certainly looks the part. Better yet, the 74k miles on the clock are documented and verified so you can feel good about your classic 4x4 purchase. Durable, reliable, and accommodating for all, this Pajero is one killer Japanese Classic.

The interior features a few hard-to-find options and has all the space and equipment you'd need to make daily use a walk in the park. Upholstered in an optional grey leather, the seats have held up surprisingly well over the years. The driver gains full power adjustability and both driver and passenger can flip on some heat for your tush. The pilot also benefits from a tilt adjustable steering column to dial in the ideal cockpit position. A modern Kenwood touch screen features upgraded audio and Bluetooth capability so you can also rock out to your own tunes from day one. Aiding daily use, all power windows work as advertised, as do the power locks, and mirrors which sadly do not power fold any longer. A gargantuan power moonroof can unfurl to shuttle airflow throughout the cabin, and if natural ventilation isn't your speed, a simple to use dual-zone climate control unit can shuttle cold A/C and hot heat in at a moments notice. The rear bench is versatile, reclining for some added comfort on long road trips, and stowing forward to accommodate a run to the local feed and seed. If the whole family is in tow, the third row can deploy from the D pillars to comfortably seat two additional occupants. Overall, there's not a lot this cabin can't handle. It's plush, spacious, and holds its own against most modern offerings too! Save for some minor cracking on the leather, it's hard to scrutinize this Pajero.

Those looking to rack up the miles on this Mitsu can find some solace knowing the 3.5 V6 under the bonnet was widely supported here in the states. Ours has the added benefit of a recent service by our trained technicians too, and cranks to life with the help of a new 12v battery. We performed a full coolant flush to rid the system of any unwanted debris, and a fresh oil and filter service was performed to get the next owner up to date on maintenance schedules. A new engine air filter and fuel filter work to finish up the tune-up and this V6 zips right up to highway speeds without hesitation. The automatic transmission does a fine job at handling gear changes and Mitsubishi's Super Select 4WD system makes it easy to switch between 2WD and 4WD on the fly. For more demanding excursions, a center locking differential can be selected alongside 4WD low if you need to handle serious business off-road. The suspension features three adjustable damping settings from the factory and feels composed even over larger road imperfections. The brakes stop on a dime and we installed new pads on the front to ensure you won't come up short on stopping power. Last but certainly not least, fresh Falken tires look good, grip hard, and should keep you glued to the pavement for tens of thousands of miles to come!
