Mitsubishi's Pajero is chock full of cutting-edge technology, desirable equipment, and space for the whole family! Our 1999 is fresh from the motherland, fully reconditioned, and ready to hang with the best of them here in the States. Finished in a classic Satellite Silver (A69) over Navajo Green (F76), this Pajero is set off by a Lodio Drive tire cover, OEM front rainguards, and some period correct 16" Lodio Drive multipiece alloys. Showing a few small paint defects from day to day use, there's not much else to turn your nose up at as the factory-widened bodywork speaks for itself. Better yet, the 65k miles on the clock are verified and documented, and make this classic body-on-frame beast much more appealing over more modern offerings. Stylish, punchy, and capable with seating for eight, it's hard to call this Japanese Classic anything but great!

Mitsubishi has always had a knack for designing timeless interiors and this Pajero certainly fits the bill as it's about as comfortable and well-equipped as many of the best luxury SUV's of the time. Upholstered in durable textured cloth, the cockpit of this Pajero is a great place to be, and was clearly well cared for in a prior life, as the seats show no major signs of wear or tear. For the safety conscious, dual SRS airbags came standard up front, and the driver can additionally tilt the steering column at will to dial in a more comfortable driving position. The center stack is outfitted with modern staples such as digital automatic climate control which is remarkably easy to use, and a touch screen Bluetooth equipeed Eclipse headunit if you prefer your own soundtrack over the V6 beneath the bonnet. The A/C blows ice cold and the heat is piping hot, and rear passengers can take advantage of their own independent set of controls as well. All four power windows work as advertised alongside power locks, keyless entry, and power folding mirrors. Seating arrangements for your rear passengers are plenty versatile. A third row can deploy from the D-pillars if you need to pile in a whole squad, and the rear bench is reclinable if a road trip nap is required. The remaining upholstery is all in good nick, from the headliner to the plush carpets beneath, and save for a few nicks and bubbles atop the vinyl dash, the cabin is truly in great shape for its age.
 
Old-school in its construction, this body-on-frame Pajero is built to tackle way more than most modern unibody soft-roaders. Powered by the first mass-market direct injected V6, this Mitsu is fresh off an oil and filter service, and we replaced the engine air filter and fuel filter as a bit of a preemptive tune-up. A new 12v battery was installed to aid ignition and The 6G74 is linked to a smooth-shifting automatic transmission. A selective transfercase allows the driver to select between 2WD and 4WD at speed for any abrupt road surface changes. Even better, an optional center locker can be engaged for when tougher terrain is in front of you. We did want to note a minor seep from the lower oil pan, which the next owner need not worry about for the near future. We tightened both front hubs and performed a rigorous road test to ensure smooth operation, and this Pajero soars over larger road imperfections with nary a squeak or rattle. The Japanese all-terrain rubber is knee deep in tread, and suits the multipiece alloys nicely. Attractive, capable, and chock full of modern equipment, this Pajero can hang with the best of them on any expedition!
