We get more interest in 70 Series Land Cruisers than our average import. The old-school knife-edged styling, a reliable diesel drivetrain, and a determined 4WD make this SUV a real winner! This 1995 is special because of its manual gearbox, but the good stuff doesn't stop there. Fresh off a recent service, this seven-seat model is offered with only 129k verified and documented miles. Finished in a lovely Dark Emerald Pearl over Flaxen Mica (26Z), this tough rig is set off by refinished OEM alloys, chrome mirrors, and a polished OEM bull bar with integrated amber fog lamps. Aside from a few scuffs, dings, and chips the paint is in good nick as a whole. Featuring a spacious cabin with a surprising amount of amenities, it's no wonder why so many of our clients daily drive these Toyotas. Cool, collectible Japanese Classic trucks like these are all the rage, and this one is truly top-tier.

The cabin is in good shape and was clearly cared for in a prior life. Normally massive dash cracks are a part of the Prado experience, but this one has only a minor one located by the glovebox. The tall ride height and loads of glass allow for premium outward visibility, and the driver benefits from a tilt-adjustable steering column and adjustable lumbar support. The OEM audio is close by at hand and operates properly, supplying a soundtrack to the cabin, and adjacent to the simple manual climate controls which adjust the working A/C and heat. Power windows, door locks, and electric mirrors all work in typical Toyota fashion and make daily driving more enjoyable. The seats are upholstered in a soft blue and gray cloth. The material lacks any rips, stains, or tears. The middle row can tumble forward to create a flat loading floor and the rear two jump seats can be stowed against the d-pillars. The carpets, door cards, and headliner have withstood the past 25 years without sustaining major abuse, and it's clear this truck was cared for in Japan.

This body-on-frame SUV is sturdily built and tough as nails. In fact, it's such a good platform it's still produced to this day! Power comes from the efficient and reliable 1KZ-TE. Fresh off an oil and filter service, the 3.0L springs to life care of a new 12v battery. A new engine air filter and new fuel filter work to maximize fuel economy and power the four-banger strong all the way to redline. We also replaced the old valve cover gasket with a new one to keep all the lubricant internal to the 1KZ. The five-speed manual transmission gives the driver more control over the platform, and rowing gears in this boxy SUV puts a smile on everyone's face. The gearbox lacks any grinding or hitches and is geared properly for highway use. The transfer case is selective, meaning the driver may choose between 2WD and 4WD depending on the road conditions. If sand or snow stands in your way, the hubs can be locked from the cabin, and low-range 4WD can be engaged. We did replace the gear oil in the front, rear, and center differentials so that the unit operates seamlessly. We also replaced the front and rear output seals, too. The truck accelerates well for something with the aerodynamics of a brick and the Prado is peppy from stoplight-to-stoplight. The suspension offers loads of ground clearance and can handle the rigors of daily use and abuse. The brakes feel confident and the power steering makes this rig easy to maneuver about the tight confines of a parking lot. The refinished OEM alloys are wrapped in new 31" Falkens at each corner. The tires match the tough guy aesthetic and most importantly will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
