To say that Honda is a shining example of quality, efficiency, and reliability is quite an understatement. By 1995, well into its fifth generation, the Accord had solidified its spot as a staple in Honda’s impressive lineup. The proven platform's continuation of the five-door wagon design appealed to the masses, selling very well both abroad and here stateside. This 1995 wagon is finished in Bordeaux Red Pearl (R78P) and is offered with only 51k verified and documented miles. The body is in decent shape other than some light chips, scuffs, scratches, and dings associated with daily use. Accented with a set of factory OEM rainguards, and Prime alloy wheels this Accord is no show car, but shows very well. Recently serviced, and boasting a surprising number of power amenities, this Accord is an incredible value and offers a seamless ownership experience and low cost of ownership.

The interior is exactly what you would expect from Honda, featuring economical materials that can stand the test of time. Once behind the wheel, you’ll find the dash is in excellent condition. A tilt steering column has been combined with the aftermarket Personal steering wheel, which shows wear consistent with the mileage. The gauges are all easy to read and clear, and the digital climate control has a clean display with large buttons for ease of use. The A/C blows cold, and the heat works, so the Accord can handle living in every different type of climate. Audio is supplied by an aftermarket Kenwood head unit providing crisp and clear sound for your daily commute. The front seats are upholstered in gray cloth and are still soft to the touch. They are bolstered for comfort on road trips, and lack any major rips, stains, or tears. The rears are in equally good condition and fold down for more space providing plenty of room for hauling any large cargo. The driver benefits from electric locks, power windows, and power-folding mirrors which still work like a charm and make daily use enjoyable. The carpets and cargo area are clean and the plastics within the cabin have aged nicely, without much cracking or fading, thanks to the aftermarket privacy tint. It’s clear this wagon was kept up quite well in Japan and even retains its original owner’s manuals, maintenance books, and rear cargo cover.

The engine and driveline are consistent with Honda’s proven reliability as well. The Accord is the type of car you can comfortably commute without worrying about it leaving you stranded. Powered by the F22B four-cylinder, the front-drive wagon returns decent fuel economy while managing enough power to safely merge onto US interstates. The 2.2L inline four-cylinder engine is fresh off an oil and filter service and turns over quickly, with the turn of a key, thanks to the brand new 12V battery. Our trained technicians also installed a brand-new oil pan gasket keeping the four-banger topped up on oil. While on our lift we installed a left front axle and new cat back exhaust. The transmission shifts as it should and runs through the gears without hesitation. The steering is light and power-assisted, and the suspension is soft and handles road imperfections with confidence thanks to the new struts installed on all four corners. The brakes feel confident, and the alloy wheels are wrapped in new all-season tires providing trouble-free driving for tens of thousands of miles to come.
