This 1995 Honda Civic was designed and sold during the brand's golden era. In the 1990's Honda was churning out the hits left and right, and this EK2 is a brilliant example of the manufacturer's commitment to quality and efficiency. Freshly redone in one-off  White Silver (A62), the paint is in good shape overall and set off by a subtle set of OEM rainguards. Offered with a mere 78k verified and documented miles, this recently serviced four-seater is barely broken in! This versatile hatch could be a frugal commuter, neat weekend cruiser, or unmolested platform to swap and modify. No matter how this next chapter unfolds, this reliable, collectible, and fun Civic is sure to be a trusty steed, and that's why we love this Japanese Classic.

The top-tier ergonomics and build quality of these cabins really showcase the materials and time spent in the design phase of the EK's production. All the controls are at hand and aside from a functional Gathers head unit upgrade, the interior is just as it left the factory. The dash is in good nick, and is low lying which presents a clear view of the road ahead. It lacks any cracking or weather-related distortion as well. For those who want to cruise this thing immediately, the A/C blows cold and the sound quality from the speakers is decent. The seats are in above-average shape, and are comfortable on longer hauls. For those concerned about all the electronics modern vehicle comes with, the manual locks, mirrors and crank windows are just a few fewer items that can break. The soft, multicolored cloth lacks any major rips stains or tears and matches the door cards, which are in equally good nick. The headliner and carpets lack hasn't sustained any major abuse over the past 25 years. As a whole, its clear the interior was cared for in a prior life, and even the spare key and OEM carpet mats are included in the sale.

The team at Honda were experts at producing front-engine, front-wheel drive compact cars. Their reliable powertrains and expensive parts endeared them to owners. This little runabout is powered by the trusty D13B. The four-banger is fresh off an oil and filter service and starts up promptly with the twist of a key. A new engine air filter has been installed to maximize fuel economy. It idles with confidence thanks to a new serpentine belt tensioner pully and is connected to a smooth shifting automatic. It gets up to highway merging speeds without causing any stress and can cruise comfortably when on the interstate. That is not to say you'll be winning any drag races unless you can find an unsuspecting Kei car at the stoplight alongside you. The steering is light and the tiny exterior dimensions allow for convenient parking in the tight confines of a busy parking lot. The suspension is predictable and insulates well against road imperfections. One of our trained techs has refreshed it a touch, adding new trailing arm bushings. Lastly, we mounted and balanced four new all season tires. The new rubber quiets down the road noise a good deal and will provide tens of thousands of miles of year-round grip to come.
