The Land Cruiser J80 is a capable, reliable, and roomy steed. Its Full-Time 4WD is ideal for year-round use and this gasoline-powered version is identical to Stateside examples, making maintenance and repairs easy as pie. Finished in a new striking coat of Army Green (6V7) this 1995 VX Limited is set off by OEM rainguards, factory spare tire swingarm, menacing privacy tint, and refinished gunmetal 16" alloys wrapped in 35" Falken all-terrain rubber. Aside from some light imperfections, the paint is in good shape and this FZJ80 is fresh off a recent service. Boasting a mere 134k verified and documented miles on the clock, this five-seater is barely broken in. The cabin refresh was part of the mid-lifecycle update and features a cleaner layout than the model before it. The view of the road ahead is clear and commanding as this tall SUV rides far above traffic. We did want to note some thin cracks along the dash, but they can be easily obscured with a mat. The driver benefits from electric adjustable lumbar support and a tilt-adjustable steering column to find the ideal driving position. A woodgrain wheel classes up the cabin a touch, too as does a Pioneer radio upgrade. Power windows, locks, and electric mirrors make daily use more enjoyable and functional aside from the power folding function on the passenger mirror. Even cruise control was spec'd in this VX-Limited! The seats are trimmed in a blue and gray Alcantara. Aside from a minor hole on the driver seat bottom, the cloth lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. The rear bench can also tumble forward to accommodate larger cargo. Automatic dual-zone climate control feeds heat and cool A/C through the cabin and the buttons are large and easy to read. For more natural ventilation a large front power moonroof can be unfurled. The carpets, headliner, and door cards are in fine shape and have resisted major abuse over the years. Even the maintenance booklet and owner's manuals are included with the purchase of this truck!

Under the hood, this Land Cruiser utilizes the same 1FZ-FE as our stateside versions. This 4.5L is fresh off an oil and filter service and churns to life care of a new 12v battery.  A new air filter and new fuel filter keep the straight six running like a champ and one of our trained techs has repaired a few pesky oil leaks. A new valve cover gasket was installed and we also fixed a leaky oil pump. The engine is linked to a stout automatic gearbox that sends power to both axles through a Full-Time 4WD system. The front input seal on the transmission was replaced and shifts are seamless, all the way up to highway speeds. If you are tackling a beach trip, low-range 4WD and a center locker can be engaged.  The suspension is soft and provides loads of ground clearance for your off-road excursions. The brakes feel confident and the power steering is light. The five-spoke refinished wheels are wrapped in new 35" Falken rubber to complete this Cruiser's reconditioning.
