The Legacy is a practical, punchy and versatile vehicle. Our 1994 packs a wallop, with a spicy twin-turbo boxer-four putting the power down to all four wheels. Finished in Emerald Green Metallic (443), the body is in good shape aside from some minor dings, chips, and scuffs associated with normal use. Spacious and reliable this BG5 can seat five adults with a ton of cargo to boot. Offered with a mere 51k verified and documented miles, this estate is barely broken in. Recently serviced and legally imported, this wagon does just about everything well. For the JDM enthusiasts who enjoy a well-rounded sport wagon, this subtle sleeper of a Subaru Legacy would make for the perfect Japanese Classic.

We love the Legacy because it was designed with a more premium cabin than most vehicles of this era. The dash is in good shape and lacks any cracking or distortion which affects many vehicles of this age. Centrally mounted is a simple to use automatic climate control system and the factory radio. Both work as advertised and the a/c blows nice and cold! An adjustable steering column allows the driver to place the OEM MoMo wheel at the proper position for ideal comfort. Power windows, locks, and electric folding mirrors are all functional and make daily use more convenient. This wagon even has a set of cupholders that retract from the center stack, unlike many cars of this era. The seats and door cards are trimmed in a soft gray cloth. Said seats lack any major rips, stains or tears and are comfortable on long trips. The rear seats can be folded flat for more cargo area and even the security shade is still intact. The headliner and carpets look equally good and have resited major abuse over the years. It is obvious the car was cared for in a prior life and we even have some service records and the owner's manual for the buyer!

Subaru's secret to success during the 1990s was simple. Reliable and surefooted, the brand wasn't known early on for its racing endeavors or performance offerings for that matter. Thanks to the introduction of the WRX and the brand's foray into WRC, the hotshot EJ20H found a home in this unsuspecting wagon. Unlike the WRX this engine features twin turbos for better throttle response. Fresh off an oil and filter service the EJ turns over quickly thanks to a new 12v battery. While up in the air one of our trained technicians also replaced the alternator with a new one and the old unit was on its last legs. The engine's trademark boxer bark is subtle illudes to this powerplant's potency. Power is sent to all four wheels through a slick-shifting automatic gearbox. Acceleration is impressive and the wagon hurls itself up to and above highway speeds. It offers a comfortable ride quality and the power steering and brakes feel confident and up to the task of daily use. The wheels are all wrapped in new all-season Falken tires which reduce in-cabin noise and vibration. They will last for tens of thousands of miles to come and provide a year-round grip for the next owner.

The Legacy has a wide range of appeal. From sports car enthusiasts with kids to rural mail carriers and everyone in between, it seems to have a lot to offer. State inspected and turn key ready to rock this sporty Suby is ready for the next iteration of its life here in the US!
