Clean, unmodified, and factory fresh, this Skyline could be a future appreciating asset, daily driver, or cars & coffee cruiser

Exterior Overview

For those who want the pedigree of Nissan’s most decorated sports coupe, with the functionality and comfort of a daily driver, this 1994 R33 GTS25-t is the ticket! Finished in Black Pearl (KH3) this coupe is set off by a factory rear spoiler and 16″ OEM optional BBS mesh wheels. Save for a few paint defects, chips, and dings, the cosmetics are no worse for the wear, and this Skyline has traveled a shocking 50k verified and documented miles over its lifespan. It’s also state safety inspected, and fresh off a comprehensive service in the shop, to ensure this coupe stays turn-key and ready to roll. Clean, unmodified, and factory fresh, this Skyline could be a future appreciating asset, daily driver, or a Cars & Coffee cruiser. At this point it goes without saying, the R33 is a bonafide Japanese Classic!

Interior Overview

Following the exterior, the interior is in equally good shape. It’s also the most spacious cabin out of all the two door models we retail, and features an abundance of power equipment and premium materials to sweeten the deal. The seats are upholstered in a plush patterned cloth, and are in far above average shape for being nearly three decades old. The dash is sculpted and finished in a soft-touch gray vinyl, and unlike its predecessor, UV rays and dash distortion are hardly a concern for the 33. The center stack is ergonomic in design, featuring an intuitive digital automatic climate control, and OEM audio close by. The HVAC pumps in cold A/C or piping hot heat on command, and save for a broken center vent it works perfectly. If you prefer a more open-air experience, both power windows work as advertised, as do the power locks, and side view mirrors. The rear bench is surprisingly spacious and can squeeze an additional occupant or two in seamlessly. The headliner is tight and tidy, and the carpets have resisted the wear and staining typically brought on by daily use. As a whole, this example is in far above average condition, for a 30 year old vehicle, and a set of rare Nissan Prince dealership mats have remained intact and clean, and are included with the purchase! Although we’d like to say it’s perfect, the power folding mirrors and automatic chin spoiler no longer operate.

Mechanical Overview

The RB25DET under the bonnet is a strong and capable beast of an engine. Beloved by performance crowds and Nissan enthusiasts, these punchy turbo sixes are easy to maintain, fun to drive, and ours is fresh off loads of good maintenance, including an oil and filter service, fuel filter, and a valve cover gasket, to keep all your lubricant internal. Well loved and maintained in the motherland, the RB accelerates at breakneck speeds and the automatic gearbox does a swell job at putting power down to the rear wheels smoothly. New adjustable coilovers keep the chassis planted during demanding drives, and the HICAS steering is light and easy to maneuver. The brakes grab strong, and the BBS’s are wrapped in fresh rubber. This R33 benefits from a fresh four wheel alignment that we performed here in the shop. Bone-stock examples rarely surface, so when a time-capsule Skyline presents itself, any savvy American shopper would be wise to jump on the opportunity!
