Nissan had an amazing lineup of quality sedans during the 1990s. The luxury lineup, in particular, offered advanced passenger amenities, supreme driver comfort, and plenty of power underneath the hood. This 1994 Nissan Infiniti Q45 is finished in a Silky Snow Pearl (WK1) and is a prime example of a well-taken care of collectible sedan. Offered with a mere 52k verified and documented miles, this 27-year-old ride is in good shape overall. The body is in good nick, aside from some minor dings, chips, and blemishes from normal use. Upgraded FRP bumpers, side skirts, and a subtle trunk lid spoiler come together delivering some seriously good aesthetics that are only rivaled by this Nissan's silky ride. Recently serviced and legally imported this Infiniti is a unique and stately Japanese Classic that turns heads and is easy to own!

Although the exterior is absolutely stunning to gaze at, the cabin is where you will spend the majority of your time. Spacious is an understatement when referring to the passenger cell. Plenty of leg and headroom is on hand, and power equipment is everywhere. Power seats are equipped in the front and the rear allowing everyone to get comfortable. The visors are enhanced with lights for the mirrors and are secured with a quick button release to keep them from sagging over time. The headliner is clear of any stains, sagging, or tears. The seats are wrapped in a delightful gray leather that is supple, clean, and comfortable over long drives. The aforementioned leather lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. Power window controls are located in the center near the shifter, with a one-touch driver side feature standard. We did discover that the front passenger window roll-down switch in the center is inoperable but on the door itself, it is still working. Power mirror adjustments can be performed with the press of a button and they are heated for defrosting purposes in winter. The folding feature is not working for the passenger side but you can still fold them in manually for tight parking. The door cards have held up well over the years with no major blemishes to note. A power sunroof is located above and can be electrically retracted and tilts for additional ventilation. The carpets have been cared for and have lasted the past quarter-century without any major abuse to note. The original Bose radio is fully functional and sounds great if you want to blast some tunes. Automatic digital climate control blows cold A/C at the moment and piping hot heat is on hand for the upcoming winter. You will also benefit from heated seats in both rows which is rare even for new cars. The dash is clear of any bubbling or cracking but does have an area near the cluster housing that has some slight wear. The original owner's manual is still sitting in the glove box which adds some originality to the Q. The backseat passengers have controls located in the center armrest allowing for control of the climate system, radio controls, and the rear reclining bench.

This Q45's powerplant is a 4.5L V8 VH45DE engine that has more than enough torque and horsepower for this big-bodied sedan. With a twist of the key, this engine starts right up quickly thanks to the new 12V battery we installed and is fresh off an oil and filter service. We also replaced the serpentine belts while it was up in the air, and this will keep the bevy of electric accessories happily running. The V8 sounds a bit more aggressive thanks to a stainless catback exhaust that looks classy doesn't drone while at speed. The acceleration is linear and the Q can get up to merging speeds effortlessly. Paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission, power is delivered to the rear wheels as it should be in a luxury sedan. Shifts occur seamlessly and the large sled gets up to highway speeds deceptively fast. The TCS and ABS lights are on, as the traction control system has been bypassed. The suspension is capable and can handle the bumps and potholes found on our American tarmac. The dampers keep the chassis isolated and it rides great on the highway. The brakes feel confident and the power steering is assisted and light making parking a snap. Lastly, we have wrapped the 20" Freedom Legion wheels in new tires at all four corners. These will deliver plenty of grip for tens of thousands of miles down the road, and quiet down the ride nicely.
