Half a world away, small cars reign supreme. The largest single segment of Japanese domestic sales is the Kei-class of microcars. On the polar end of the spectrum are SUVs like third-row equipped 1994 Land Cruiser. It's spacious, reliable, and determined as any 4x4 we sell, and this recently serviced rig is ready to rock. Adorned by a set of OEM raingaurds, and finished in a Magnetic Gray over Black Two-Tone (23Z), the body is in good shape aside from some minor dings, scratches, and chips associated with normal use. Fitted with plenty of factory upgrades, this legally imported example would make a top-tier winter hauler or daily driven truck.

The cabin is huge, even by current standards. The Japanese were leading the world in technology during this era, and this VX limited includes amenities uncommon at the time. Power windows, locks, and folding mirrors are standard and are operational. As a third-row-equipped vehicle, Toyota included a dual-zone automatic climate system. The a/c currently blows cold and if you prefer natural ventilation. a large powered sunroof retracts with the press of a button. The driver can access the audio controls easily and a Kenwood head unit was swapped in overseas to replace the dated OEM one. The audio quality is decent and the Land Cruisers premium interior materials reduce the squeaks and rattles that lesser SUVs are plagued with. The seats are upholstered in gray perforated cloth. They lack any major rips stains or tears and the third row can conveniently fold up into the D-pillar. The headliner, door cards, and carpet all look good, and even the owner's manual and some maintenance notes are in the glovebox. There are also records of the cluster swap in the books which occurred at 86k miles. The cluster curretly reads 11k miles but as such we are offering this 80 as coming with unknown mileage.

The engine is known for its ability to withstand plenty of hard miles and keep on chugging. The 1FZ-FE. Fresh off an oil and filter service the silky smooth inline-six churns over quickly thanks to a new 12v battery. It operates with hardly any vibration and is connected to an automatic transmission. The gearbox shifts properly and powers all four of the wheels. The selective transfer case does have low gearing available and an automatic center locker works to keep this humungous truck moving forward in less than ideal situations. The suspension handles the rigors of daily use without breaking a sweat and the long-wheelbase adds some stability at higher speeds. The brakes are confident and the power steering is light, which makes parking less taxing overall. The wheels are wrapped in new Falken at all corners. These look good and should deliver plenty of year-round grips for tens of thousands of miles to come.
