While it's no longer a secret, Toyota's luxury standard bearer, the Celsior, is still affordable and cool. The luxury appointments, classic styling, and low cost of ownership are all model strong suits, and this 1994 one-owner example is about as clean as it gets. Finished in a darling Toyota Black (202), this saloon is in wonderful shape aside from some light dings, chips, and scuffs associated with normal use. Packing a powerful V8, this UCF21 is fresh off a recent service and is offered with only 30k verified and documented miles on the ticker. Comfortable and collectible, this Type C would make for a trusty daily driver, a clean slate for a VIP build, or a unique weekend cruiser. Unmodified and unmolested Japanese Classics like this are getting harder to find by the day, so grab this Celsior before it's gone!

The cabin is filled with premium materials and electric amenities. Dual SRS airbags are standard for those who may be safety conscious, and the dashboard lacks any cracking or fading. The driver benefits from a power adjustable steering column and all of the switchgear is close at hand. Both driver and passenger benefit from powered front seats with electric adjustable seatbelts. Dual-zone climate control works like a charm and cold A/C and piping hot heat can be mixed through the cabin upon demand. The OEM audio works too, making daily driving more enjoyable, and power-folding mirrors, electric locks, and power windows function in typical Toyota fashion. The grey upholstery is plush and lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. The headliner is tight, taut and clean. The door cards and carpets are in good nick, too. Best of all the rare OEM carpeted mats are included with the purchase and they tie together the cabin nicely. In fact, the only real issues are a spotty radio screen, and we wanted to note the temperature gauge is off-calibration and reads a bit high. Other than that, it's really hard to complain at all about Toyota's best luxury cockpit of the 90's!

Revised from the UCF11, this platform is lighter, roomier, and more powerful overall. The 1UZ-FE under the hood might be Toyota's best engine from this era, with Stateside examples logging over a million miles! Fresh off an oil and filter service, the 4.0L churns to life quickly thanks to a new 12v battery we installed here in the shop. To keep it fully charged, a new alternator was installed by one of our trained technicians and we also added a new fuel filter. To add some additional peace of mind, the leaky old valve covers were replaced with new ones, and the 1UZ feels as strong as an ox. Linked to a stout and smooth automatic gearbox, power is fed to the rear wheels, like it should be in a proper luxury sedan. Acceleration is never an issue with such a punchy powerplant and this big body sails up to highway speeds effortlessly. The long wheelbase delivers a stable ride at high speeds and four brand new strut and spring assemblies replace the tired factory air suspension and still feel just as comfortable! The power steering is light and on point, and a new steering rack boot was replaced while it was on the lift. To prolong the life of the brand-new tires we installed, we also aligned the chassis. The ABS brakes are responsive and the cabin is nearly silent even at freeway speeds. Refined, reliable, and ready to hit the road, this driveline is pure gold!
