We just got in one of the coolest performance sedans to come out of the 90's. Who wouldn't want traditional Lexus comfort paired with one of the most desirable motors ever produced? The color combo is fantastic; Dark Green Metallic (6K2) over tan leather. With only 46K miles the paint shows exceptionally well. There are some minor imperfections in the clear coat due to age but is free of any notable chips or scratches. The same can be said about the body as it have been very well maintained. The door panels are mostly all free of any door dings and the top panels are equally clean. Clearly the previous owner cared about their vehicle and treated it accordingly which is always reassuring. The exterior has been kept all stock all the way down to the factory rain guards. Making this an awesome blank slate to build from or an unmolested new daily.

The tan leather interior is a rare find, especially considering how well its been maintained. The two tone brown/tan leather is definitely a hard to find option but fits the Aristo well. The driver seat does have some cracking along the bolster from getting in and out but has not separated. The passenger seat is in excellent condition and the rear seats appear to have hardly been used. Do note that the coloring in the photos are all a bit off due to the lighting in the showroom. The door panels are in excellent shape as well as the original tan carpeting. Despite the light coloring of the floor mats they're in particularly good shape. All of the accessories function just as they did when new. Power windows, heated/folding mirrors, power adjustable steering wheel, cruise control, even the original tape/cd player. The passenger rear window is currently inoperable but we are attempting to correct that.

The Toyota Aristo really is the definition of a GT car. The 2JZ-GTE fires right up and is quiet at idles along. Actually in factory trim it's surprisingly quiet at any RPM, however that can easily be corrected. The 3 Liter has two sides to it, a little Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde if you will. On one hand it will comfortably lope around town all day, or just set the cruise control and relax. On the flip side when you select power mode and put your foot down, the turbo's spool up, and game over. The power delivery is very linear and it feels like there's no end to it. The automatic transmission does a great job selecting the right gear for the amount of power requested. The suspension is traditional Lexus, so it's designed a bit more for comfort than performance. However it does a good job handling all of the power; you feel stable and in control at all times. In stock trim the Aristo really is the best of both worlds. Plus with the aftermarket being so strong for both the 2JZ and the GS there's a lot of room left to making this a one of a kind car for those who can't leave anything alone.
