Toyota's flagship sedan, the Toyota Celsior, set the bar for luxury sedans and has continued to live up to it. 26 years later they're still considered a well equipped sedan. This particular one is a 1992 with only 61K miles. Finished in a unique color, Cobalt Blue Metallic (172) is an awesome change up from the ones we've previously had. All of the body panels line up properly and are in great shape. The body has been kept mostly blemish free. There is one spot on the driver side rear wheel well that has been touched up (as seen in the pictures.) The rear bumper has some minor scuffs but nothing severe. The rest of the body has been well maintained for it's age. The paint shows particularly well with a deep shine. Even to this day the distinct look of the Celsior stands out in the crowd.

Much like the exterior, everything in the cabin remains factory original and well maintained. The blue interior is a fun change from the traditional grays and tans that we usually see. The panels and trim are all in great condition and free of any rips or tears. The seats have been maintained just as well; free of of any notable stains or fraying. Even the bolster on the driver seat is free of the common puckering that happens from getting in and out over time. Even by today's standards the Celsior is a well equipped vehicle. Power memory seats, heated/folding mirrors, power locks and windows, cruise control, and the automatic climate control throws out cold A/C.

Mechanically the vehicle is in good condition and runs very well. The 1UZ-FE 4.0L V8 starts right away and idles beautifully. The torquey V8 is great off the line and makes for an even better highway cruiser. The automatic transmission transfers power smoothly and shifts correctly.The same can be said about the rather clever factory air suspension, which can be raised for a little added clearance. Parts are also interchangeable (aside from the obvious RHD components) with the USDM Lexus LS400 making this an ideal every day vehicle.
