When it comes to R32 GTR's, not all are equal at this stage in their life. We get asked repeatedly why we don't import more of them. While we do import a fair amount, but the answer is simple. Most are not up to our standard and have lived a hard life over the last 25+ years. This is a large reason why there is such a huge range of prices in the market. You can find GTR's in the mid 20's, for poor mechanical and rusty examples, all the way up to 100k plus for a mint Nismo model. Rarity, mileage, and condition all play a part in classic car pricing, but when it really comes down to it, the condition is the main driver of pricing. The example you see here is well above average, and will not disappoint if you are looking for a clean R32 generation coupe. Having been meticulously maintained throughout its ownership in Japan, this GT-R really shines in aspects only someone intimately familiar with R32s could appreciate.
The original window trim looks virtually new, the seats still look black instead of blue, and the dash has no bubbles or cracks. These small details speak volumes to how the car was cared for, and it's obvious the GT-R spent the vast majority of its life parked in a garage. Combine that with being completely unmodified mechanically and you've got one very hard to find GTR. The exterior is in exceptional condition with just minor imperfections. The paint shines well, and the body has virtually no dings or dents. The exterior has been completely unmodified, a rare thing to find with GTR's. The stock bumper still has it's original mesh insert and fitment is spot on. The OEM front lip remains unpainted as it was from the factory as well. The stock side skirts fit tight to the body and the OEM GTR wing looks menacing from the rear. Inside the cabin, you'll find an excellent condition dash showing no typical wear. No dash bubble, no cracks, just as it should be. The seats still appear black in color and have not faded to the typical blue color most all GTR seats have succumbed to. The rear seat does show some discoloration at the very top, however, both driver and passenger seats are excellent and have no rips or tears. All of the leather items including the steering wheel, shift knob, and e-brake grip are all in superb condition with just slight wear. The door cards are also tidy showing just slight wear and no rips or tears. The trunk is also clean with all of the panels intact and in great condition. Audio and A/C work as they should it this classic coupe, and allow for comfortable daily use. This is one well preserved and super clean interior!
The heart of every GTR is the RB26DETT. While they all have the same engine, not all of them have been maintained this well! One look under the hood and you'll find it hard to believe this example has only 83k miles! It looks at it has less than half that. No chipping paint on the valve covers on intake plenum, all of the zinc parts still shine like new, and all scheduled maintenance performed by a Nissan dealer. In fact, it has been so well maintained that once it arrived all that was needed was a fresh set of tires and an oil change for good measure. This is one incredible driving R32. The engines fires up without a hitch and idles buttery smooth. Acceleration is prompt and the car feels planted and compliant in any driving situation. Braking is accomplished swiftly when needed and the suspension feels excellent. Don't miss this opportunity to own such a well cared for example of the legend that is the R32 GTR!
