1993 Nissan Gloria Ultima
Available for: $11,995
Nissan's Y32 chassis is one of the more versatile platforms to come out of Japan. At only 41k verified miles This midsize sedan is just as at home at a car show as it is performing daily duties. This 1993's clean lines and sporty exterior were years ahead of its time. This particular example has an updated interior trimmed in gray executive cloth with an exterior finished in (KK0) Anthracite Gray.
The paint shows great depth and luster in natural light. The body has been kept in just as great shape with no major dents or scratches. All of the body panels are straight with nice fitting panels. This car has more power options than the average Gloria, such as a power retractable sunroof with security shade, and power locks/windows with power folding side mirrors to aide tight parking situations.
The interior has been kept up equally well. The updated seats provide nice bolstering for long drives, and the cloth itself is quite durable. The vehicle doesn't have any offending odors, and is in much better nick than your average 25 year old vehicle. The rear seats and carpets are free of any rips/tears or notable stains as well. . The climate control does take some getting used to but is quite easy to use. The A/C is functioning as it should and blows nice and cold. Beyond light fabric wear to the rear parcel shelf and a small crack in the drivers side door car, the interior has aged wonderfully. The interior illumination is easy to read, and the cars interior controls work properly. The glove box and center console provide a surprising amount of storage, and the 12v charging outlet is also functional.
Power comes thanks to Nissan's 3 liter (VG30DET) V6. Of the three power plants Nissan produced for this chassis, this is the most powerful and desirable mill. As to be expected, the Gloria fires right up and has a nice even idle. The motor has ample torque down low and pulls strong up to highway speeds. The exhaust has a quiet but assured rumble and you can even hear a light "whoosh" from the factory bypass valve. The automatic transmission engages with ease and shifts smoothly when coming up to speed. It also has selective options for snow, normal, or sport driving which changes up the shift points. Like any proper grand tourer the suspension is very well sorted, albeit a bit firmer with the JIC coil over suspension. The distinctive look of this y32 is further enhanced with Work RYDER wheels. If you are looking for a killer VIP platform, this car gives you a head start on modifying a 100% stock example. All four tires are knee deep in tread, with two being replaced upon our inspection of our vehicle. Also of note is a new valve cover gasket and spark plugs. This models clean understated styling and fantastic drive make Gloria the complete package!
