1993 Nissan R33 GTS25-T
Now legal on US shores, the newest generation Nissan Skyline coupe has arrived. Boasting a larger and more powerful engine, improved interior, and more refined drive, this two door sports car exudes Japanese performance. With only 116k verified miles, this example trimmed in Dark Green Blue (1N3) over Gray cloth is in great condition, both mechanically and cosmetically.
This nearly stock, Skyline's lines have been preserved without any cluttered lips, high rise spoilers or ground effects. The factory wing might be the only ode to this cars sportiness; the body is in good shape overall without any major dents or scratches. There is a nice shine from the clear coat, and the headlights have been cleared to remove any haziness typical on this generation headlamps. In this form, this Skyline can be purchased as a daily driver or as an unmolested platform to tune. The RB25 turbo motor fires up instantly, and accelerates effortlessly to redline. A slightly deeper thrum exits rearward through the exhaust from 3" exhaust piping, this vehicles only performance modification. Making 247HP, its mid-level torque is a huge improvement over the previous generation in factory form, and can be uncorked with the aide of some simple bolts-on if the next owner so chooses. The transmission, a stick shift, also operates nicely. Its simple, deliberate gear changes have been improved even more so, with new fluid. Additionally, service staff has completed an oil service to keep the six cylinder mill happy.
The platform also is a huge improvement to this generations predecessor, utilizing nicer materials and dealing better with squeaks and rattles. Sporting larger, more legible gauges and a quartz digital clock, the r33 coupe's simple yet ergonomic interior reflects how much care Nissan put into making this car last. Both front seats are nicely bolstered and devoid of any spills, stains, rips or tears. Occupants in the back will also find the interior in good shape, as the same statement can be made about the front as the rear. The power locks, lighting, gauges, and one touch widow all function remarkably well. A simple three spoke sports steering wheel finishes this interior, ensuring the driver has a well-gripped connection with the road.
Nissan built this sports car to stand the test of time. Its versatility allows this platform to be just as ' at home' carving up the canyons as it is pulling daily duty in traffic.
