Japan is a hotbed for low mileage, reliable, turbo diesel trucks. This 1993 Mistubishi Strada is a prime example, sports a manual gearbox, and is offered with only 125k verified and documented miles. Finished in a beautiful Danube Blue over Gray two-tone (B34), she is accented by a factory polished roll bar, new bedliner, and an OEM brushguard. Aside from some light dings, chips, and scuffs associated with normal use the body and paint are in good nick, and this 4x4 truck drives really well. Fresh off a recent service, this spacious pickup is practical and tough. For those who want a special rig, this Strada will fit the bill and is a certified Japanese Classic.

The cabin is in above average shape for a truck of this age and was cared for overseas. The dash lacks any cracking or distortion and offers a premium view of the roadway ahead. A factory field monitor is mounted centrally and keeps an eye on the exterior ambient temperature, altitude, and includes an inclinometer. These all work like a charm and compliment the tough-guy aesthetic of this truck. Below, a Pioneer radio upgrade has been installed and works as advertised. The climate control system is simple to use and features functional AC and heat. The seats are comfortable and trimmed in a durable gray cloth. They lack any major rips, stains, or tears and match the door cards. The cabin has several power options like electric side mirrors, power locks, and front power windows. These all work properly and make daily use enjoyable. The carpets and headliner have withstood the past 25 years without sustaining major abuse and the interior is complete, clean, and ready to roll!

Known for durability and low cost of ownership, we have given the legendary 4D56 engine a fresh service since it arrived stateside. The next owner can take some solace knowing that the most expensive preventative maintenance bits have been taken care of, saving some precious coin down the road. The timing belt and water pump service were taken care of by one of our trained technicians, and a new 12v battery and thermostat were chucked in too, while on the lift. The 2.5L idles with confidence thanks to a new set of serpentine belts and an oil and filter service was just performed. The four-banger is linked to a selective transfer case and manual gearbox. Rowing through the five-speed makes daily use more fun, and gives the driver a level of control they would lack with a conventional slushbox. Acceleration is fine for highway merging and city use but this frugal four-cylinder won't win you any drag races, admittedly. The power steering is light and the brakes are confident when called upon. The factory suspension provides tons of ground clearance and is comfortable handling large and small potholes alike. The factory alloys are also wrapped in new 31" Falken Rubitreks at all four corners. The new all-terrains are beefy, mean-looking, and ready to take on our American roadways and trails immediately!
