The Nissan Skyline R33 is a heck of a car and in late 1996 the "Series 2" was introduced which included a redesigned front end along with some minor interior updates as well. This 1996 GTS25T Series 2 is in phenomenal condition and has a low 62k documented and verified miles. The exterior is finished in Nissan's slick Sonic Silver (KR4). The paint is overall in beautiful condition although there is some minor fading on the side view mirrors. Notable prior repairs in Japan include a replaced left quarter panel. The exterior remains unmodified and includes the mid rise OEM rear wing. This R33 is fresh off a recent service and a turn key Japanese classic!
The cabin condition is far above average and all of the plastic trim is in excellent condition. The driver seat shows some bolster wear and a small tear, but that's really the only thing to complain about. The dash is in excellent shape and has no major UV damage or distortion. The door panels are in excellent condition with no rips or tears and the fabric inserts are also very nice. All of the power equipment functions including the digital climate control with cold A/C and hot heat. The power folding function on the driver side mirror is no longer functional but can be folded manually. The carpets and headliner are both clean and the factory floor mats are even included. Inside the glove box you'll find all of the original books as well. It's clear that this R33 was well cared for during its time in Japan!
Powered by the fun to drive RB25DET this R33 has plenty of power right out of the box. Connected to a smooth shifting automatic transmission this Skyline would make for an enjoyable daily driver. We have installed a brand new battery and performed a fresh oil and filter service. Our trained technicians have also replaced the valve cover gaskets as well. Acceleration is excellent and has plenty of power on tap for overtaking on the highway. The suspension feels tight and responsive and the brakes quickly slow this coupe down when called on. We wanted to note that the Hicas light does come on at highway speeds, however since most people prefer to disable Hicas we are selling it as is. We mounted and balanced four brand new tires as well which will last for years to come. The only thing this Skyline needs now is you!
