Nissan's S chassis has lamented itself as one of the most versatile cars on the road today. Whether a daily driver, track terror, or show car the Silvia/180SX can do it all. This 1993 just touched down with only 90K verified miles and plenty of go fast bits. The Aztec Red (AG2) paint looks fantastic and is an eye catcher from every angle. The exterior has been kept largely all stock, retaining the original lines that made it such an icon. The front bumper has been trimmed to add extra airflow to the large HKS front mount intercooler. The ride height has been lowered thanks to HKS coilovers giving it a more aggressive stance. A set of polished 16" Rays Sebring Masche mesh wheels keep the classic feeling and are in great shape. The body has been well maintained, free of any notable dents or dings.

The interior has been well maintained, however it has been stripped down a bit (as evident in the pictures.) The driver's seat has been replaced with a Recaro fixed back bucket to keep you firmly in place. Overall the seat is in good shape as a leather pad was added to the lower portion to prevent it from wearing as quickly, however like most it does have some bolster wear from getting in and out. The stock wheel has been replaced with a nice Nardi three spoke. In order to keep an eye on vitals a plethora of Greddy gauges have been added. Above the radio we have one for oil pressure, oil temp, and water temp. Atop the dash is a boost gauge and one for EGT. The dash does suffer from the traditional cracks, but this car was obviously built more for function over form. Also on top of the steering column is a HKS Electronic Valve Controller. Since the backs seats serve little purpose in coupes like this a bolt in roll bar was added for extra protection and rigidity. Since it is a street car after all the power windows and automatic climate control have been left in place. Both are still functioning as they should. The passenger seat and door cards are in great shape for their age, free of any wear or severe staining.

Once you pop the hood is where you'll find the big ticket modifications. The SR20DET has received quite a few nice upgrades. Most notably the HKS GT-RS turbo kit which replaces all of the factory pieces. A HKS intake helps feed the turbo while a Fujitsubo catback helps reduce back pressure. The exhaust is certainly more noticeable than stock without being overpowering. A nice aluminum catch can looks right at home tucked up by the firewall. And to make oil changes more convenient an oil filter relocation kit was added as well. To help with the suspension bracing a front and rear strut tower braces were added. Despite all the modifications the SR fires right up and happily idles along. The power delivery is very linear and feels stellar under boost. The transmission rows through the 5 speed with ease making it a blast on back roads. Since touching down here our techs have gone through the car and replaced several wear items. Four new tires, plugs, fuel filter and sock, a fresh battery, and replaced the filter. With all of the work already done this 180SX would make an ideal platform to build from!
