1992 Toyota Celsior V8


Toyota hit a home run with its first iteration of the Celsior. At a time when luxury cars were costly, frequently broke down, and were only available from a few select German manufacturers, Toyota managed to burst into the segment with a timeless design. This 1992 sedan rides like a dream, powered by a silky-smooth V8 and underpinned by rear-wheel drive. Finished in Black Jade Pearl (6K4), the body is in good shape aside from some light scuffs, dings,  and chips associated with normal use. Safe, heavily optioned, and recently serviced this trusty steed is a turn-key luxury car that is internationally renowned for its build quality and low cost of ownership. The headliner is clean and the door cards have held up well over the years. Even the carpets have withstood major damage and the OEM front mats are included with the purchase of this Celsior. 

The mechanicals are sturdy and stout and built to stand the test of time. This sexy four-door is powered by the 1UZ-FE. Making 250hp and near-silent in ins operation, it's perfectly suited for this UCF10. Fresh off an oil and filter service, it starts up and promptly and idles with confidence. Mated to a silky smooth automatic gearbox, the Celsior is front engine and rear drive-in its layout. The gearbox shifts seamlessly and lacks any hesitation. The suspension is adept at handling our less than pristine stateside asphalt and it soaks up large and small bumps with ease. The brakes are confident and the OEM wheels are all wrapped in new tires. The new all-season Falkens quiet down the ride nicely and will deliver premium year-round grip for tens of thousands of miles to come.
