Over the past decade, the Nissan Skyline market has changed significantly. Nearly doubling in value since their legalization; the manual transmission, two-door R32 is hands down the most recognizable and desired variant. Finished in a sleek Black Pearl Metallic (732), this 1992 Type-M is offered with a mere 101K verified miles. The body is in good shape, other than a few minor dings and scuffs associated with normal use. The legally imported and fully documented coupe is fresh off a recent service and would make a great turn-key weekend toy or even a daily driver. 

The interior has held up well over the years and is simple and straightforward in its design. Nissan did had some quality issues suffice to say, but the infamous dash bubble is quite small on this particular example. Other than that, the seats, carpets, headliner, and door cards are in good nick. The upholstery is still soft to the touch, and the gray cloth buckets are supportive on long drives. Best yet, they lack any major rips, stains, or tears. The A/C is currently blowing cold, which is important in a black car, and the digital climate system is easy to use. Power folding mirrors are still functional and other power equipment includes electric windows and locks. The only cabin upgrades are a Momo Race steering wheel and a head unit-delete so the RB20DET could be heard a little better. 

The driveline Nissan utilized made sense as it was a good combination of reliability, power, and efficiency. The 2.0L RB20DET sits under the bonnet and is fresh off an oil and filter service. The straight-six starts up quickly with a twist of the key and breaths easily thanks to a new engine air filter. A custom exhaust gives the little RB a bit of a throatier burble and adds a bit of panache to the sporty exterior styling. Acceleration is brisk and the powerband remains linear thanks to a set of new plugs and a fuel sock replacement. The 5-speed manual shifts slickly enough, lacking any hitches or grinds and easily sends power to the rear wheels. The brakes are confident and the suspension feels planted and does a good job sorting out all the bumps. It is firmer than stock, as it rides on a set of lowering springs, but reduce the fender gap really changes the character of the car. Our trained technicians have replaced the front upper control arms and installed a set of new all-season rubber at all four corners. 

These RB powered R32s are a wonderful platform to own. Whether you plan to tinker with it and mod a few things, or perhaps just daily drive, they are quite versatile. Parts are readily available, and there is an abundance of technical info you can find stateside. With prices skyrocketing, these little coupes are bonafide Japnese Classics.
