This 1992 Nissan Skyline is a special car. It's fun to drive, collectible and reliable. Finished in (KH2) Gun Gray Metallic, this Type M coupe is offered with a mere 90k verified and documented miles. The body is in good shape aside from some normal dings and chips associated with normal use. It benefits from a whole slate of recent maintenance including a new timing belt service and would make for an ideal daily driver. This desirable, manual-transmission example is turbo, rear-drive, and ready to rock. It's a seriously good sports coupe that could be your Japanese Classic.

The interior is in above-average shape for an R32. Sure it has some light delamination of the door cards and a small passenger side dash bubble, but then again this thing is a quarter-century old. The power equipment is fantastic for daily use and the power windows, door locks, and power-folding mirrors all work as advertised. The digital climate system is intuitive and the a/c blows cold which is nice in these warming summer months. The OEM audio also functions, but we have no doubt you'd prefer the awesome sounds of the engine and turbocharger. The grey cloth upholstery is soft to the touch, and aside from some minor burns on the passenger side front seat, has held up well over the years. The seats are comfy on long cruises and fairly supportive during spirited driving. The headliner and carpet seem cared for, and even the owner's manual is still in the glove box!

The mechanicals is loved by enthusiasts because they are easy to work on, and parts are readily available and fairly cheap. The RB20DET that powers this Skyline is fresh off an oil and filter service and starts up promptly with the twist of the key. Aided by a new 12v battery and engine air filter, the straight-six idles flawlessly with little to no vibration. The serpentine belts are all new and keep things quiet under the bonnet. The 2.0L received a new set of plugs, a fuel filter, and some new fuel lines to keep the RB running right. The old thermostat was replaced with a new one but most importantly, we wanted to note that the most expensive preventative maintenance item was performed by our trained techs after this gem was imported. As referenced in the opening, a new timing belt and water pump service was done stateside and will save a few bucks for the next owner undoubtedly. The brakes have new pads and rotors up front and stop this coupe promptly when called upon. The steering is communicative and the suspension can handle the rigors of daily use and abuse. The five-spoke OEM alloys are all wrapped in new tires at all four corners. They quiet the ride down immeasurably and will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
