To enjoy a Skyline you certainly needn't own a GT-R. This 1992 R32 drives impressively well and is equipped with a silky smooth straight-six and manual gearbox. More refined than they are given credit for, this GTS25 is offered with a mere 52k documented and verified miles on the chassis. It even comes with a full-service history dating back to when it was new, which is worth its weight in gold. Finished in a subtle Greyish Blue Pearl (BL0) the body is in good shape aside from some minor scuffs, dings, and chips. Notable repair history includes a replacement hood. Recently serviced, this sexy coupe would make for a unique and capable daily driver for those who can appreciate this brilliant platform for what it is. Our Type S is a sporty, composed, collectible, and reliable Japanese Classic you won't want to miss out on!

The cabin is in good overall shape and comes with some power amenities as well. The cockpit is largely as it left the factory from Nissan with the exception of the touchscreen Kenwood head unit. It works as it should and directly above is the standard digital climate control. The latter system is simple to use and currently blows cold a/c through the cabin. If you prefer more natural ventilation the power sunroof tilts and retracts and the power windows are on hand as well. Other power amenities include power locks and power-folding mirrors that work as they should. The seats and door cards are upholstered in a soft gray cloth. They lack any major rips, stains or tears and are in above average condition. The headliner and carpet have been obviously cared for in a prior life and the owner's manual and spare key sit in the glovebox. That's not to say this interior is perfect as the passenger side dashboard does have the typical bubble. Still, at nearly 30 years old, the condition is remarkable.

A Skyline deserves a six-cylinder powerplant in our opinion and the RB25DE doesn't disappoint. At 2.5L, it provides a healthy heap of torque and is fresh off an oil and filter service. The engine turns over promptly thanks to a new 12v battery and it sets into a near vibration-free idle. It breathes a bit easier thanks to a new engine air filter which also aids fuel efficiency a touch. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an old fashion five-speed manual gearbox, that replaces the factory automatic this one was originally spec'd with. Our trained technicians have installed a new clutch which will save a hefty service charge to the next owner. They also replaced the fuel pump and filter while it was up in the air. The transmission is a gem, and shifts feel direct; the close-ratio unit lacks any grinding or hesitation, and rowing through the gears is a joy. Acceleration is decent, and while not as fast as the 2.0L turbo, it has plenty of horsepower to keep the driver entertained. The suspension feels planted and can handle the rigors of daily use. We have refreshed it a touch adding new front upper control arms and tension arms to reduce play. The brakes are confident as well and the steering is power-assisted and communicative. The five-spoke alloys are all wrapped in new  Falken tires at all four corners. These quiet down the ride nicely and should provide premium year-round grip for tens of thousands of miles to come.
