If you're looking for an affordable, comfortable, and capable 4WD SUV then the Pajero is the platform for you. This 1992 Mitsubishi Pajero Exceed is loaded to the brim with amenities giving you one of the best values in the Japanese SUV market. With its rugged body on frame design and freshly serviced turbo diesel engine boasting a mere 121k verified and documented miles, this rig is turn key and ready to hit the trails. Finished in a beautiful Ascot Silver Metallic (H84) over Normandie Blue Metallic (B42) the body shows well with only a few rock chips, scratches, and door dings associated with daily use, the worst of which is a dent in the chrome rear bumper. The OEM rainguards, polished lower grill guard, and aftermarket alloy wheels wrapped in brand new all-terrain tires add to the aggressive visual presence. As a family hauler, competent offroader, or a year round daily driver this Pajero is the perfect entry level import and won't last long.

The spacious cabin is trimmed in blue leather and maintains its third row seating, heated front seats, and dual zone climate control for the rear passengers. The seats are in great shape with only minor wear to the driver side seat bottom. For added storage the 2nd and 3rd row seats collapse making it much easier for transporting large items. The dashboard and door panels are in excellent shape showing only a damaged center vent, and few minor scuff marks. The digital automatic climate control functions properly and blows hot heat and cold A/C on demand. The aftermarket Alpine head unit works flawlessly and sound quality from the speakers is crisp and clear without distortion which is great for daily use. The driver also benefits from power windows, power mirrors, sunroof, and a dash mounted field monitor which all work properly aside from the power folding mirrors and compass. The carpet and headliner have also held up nicely over the years with only minor notable stains and light lifting of the fabric around the sunroof shade corners. This Pajero was clearly well taken care of in its prior life even retaining its tool kit, emergency flashlight, carpeted floor mats, and original owners manuals located in the glove compartment.

Under the hood lies the diesel workhorse of the Mitsubishi brand, the turbocharged and intercooled 4D56. The 2.5 liter iron block is mated to a smooth shifting automatic transmission, and 4WD transfer case. The engine fires to life with the turn of a key, or with the push of a button, thanks to the aftermarket remote start, two new 12v batteries, and a freshly rebuilt ECU, which includes a lifetime warranty. Our trained technicians also replaced the air filter, valve cover gasket, serpentine belts, and performed an oil and filter service to keep the diesel sealed up and breathing freely for years to come. While the automatic transmissions shifts are precise due to recently performed transmission fluid service, and brand new kick down cable. Additionally, this Pajero came equipped from the factory with a 5.29 gear set. Although the gear ratio isn't ideal for highway use it does pair well with the 4WD system with locking center differential making driving on any terrain effortless. The factory suspension provides a comfortable ride, and the new sway bar bushings paired with brand new Falken tires provide tons of grip on pavement or while hitting the trails.
