1997 Nissan Cima V8
Available for: $11,495
The Nissan Cima was the brand's flagship luxury car during its production run and was full of the latest technology and optioned to the hilt. This 1997 10th anniversary model shares its platform with the USDM Infiniti Q45 and is in wonderful condition with a mere 49k verified and documented miles. The exterior is finished in Nissan's stately Dark Blue (BP9) while the interior is trimmed in a classy light grey leather. The body and paint are in excellent shape with only minor scuffs and minor dings from normal use. Equipped with factory forged alloy wheels, this V8 Cima is just off a stateside service and ready to get you to your destination in luxury.
The JDM Cima had many options never available for the US Infiniti Q45 and this one has just about all of them. Things like reclining rear seats, rear seat radio and climate controls, optional OEM navigation, front and rear parking sensors, and even a powered front passenger seat adjustment so the driver can easily provide more legroom for rear passenger. All of which function properly, except for the NAV screen which is not functional, and make for a great conversation starter when you have new passengers in the car. Equipped with Dual front SRS airbags and dual side SRS airbags, you'll have a bit more peace of mind too. The dash is in great shape and has resisted any major UV damage over the years. The seats are trimmed in excellent condition leather and show no major wear, rips, or major staining. The driver's seat bolster does have some minor wear, shown in the photos. The seats are comfortable both around town or on long hauls. Inside the rear seat arm rest you'll find a storage compartment, cupholders, and a digital climate control and radio controls. Additional features include power windows, power locks, power mirrors, and a tilt steering wheel which all work properly as well. The automatic digital climate control works great in the auto setting, providing cold A/C and hot heat to the occupants. There's even a button to adjust the suspension ride height on the fly, which functions properly. That's not to say everything is perfect, the cruise control is not currently functional. That being said. Y33 interior's don't get much better than this well maintained and cared for example!
Powering this Cima is the Nissan VH41 4.1L V8. This engine which was also offered in the Infiniti Q45 is a breeze to maintain. Parts are conveniently available at your local auto parts store or nearest Nissan dealer. The V8 starts up quickly thanks to a new 12v battery we installed here at our dealership and benefits from a fresh oil and filter change along with new valve cover gaskets. Acceleration is smooth and packs plenty of power to overtake on the highway. Shifts are performed through a buttery smooth automatic transmission making stop and go traffic effortless. The suspension is Nissan's Active hydraulic suspension and allows the driver to switch between ride height settings with the press of a button. Additionally, if you are so inclined, modification of the height sensors would allow for an ultra low height setting. The brakes stop the large sedan promptly thanks to new front brake pads and rotors along with new rear brakes pads. Keeping the ride comfortable while maintaining traction are four brand new Falken tires that our trained technicians mounted and balanced. This well optioned top of its class sedan is ready for its new owner to cruise in style!
