Honda produced a prolific lineup of small cars during the 1990s. The EG hatch is an iconic design and this 1992 is offered with a mere 67k verified and documented miles. The curvaceous styling, nearly bulletproof powertrain, and quality cabin make daily use enjoyable, and this Civic is efficient and inexpensive to maintain. Finished in Granada Black Pearl (NH-503P) the body and paint are in good nick aside from some light dings, chips, and scuffs associated with normal use. Notable repairs in Japan include a new hood, fenders, and core support. This fun-to-drive hot hatch is also fuel-conscious which is nice, considering recent gas prices. Fresh off a recent service, this lovely Honda is here stateside, turn-key, and ready to rock.

Inside you're greeted with soft gray upholstered seats and fully operational climate controls providing for ice-cold A/C and hot heat. The driver and passengers will be comfortable on short or long drives and the seats lack any major rips, stains, or tears. The driver will also enjoy the convenience of having power locks, power windows, power mirrors, all of which work properly. Would like to note that the driver's side interior door panel has some scuffs at the bottom and heavier than normal UV damage at the top. The dash is nice and has no major damage from UV, cracks, or bubbles from its life in Japan. The carpets and headliner are in good condition as well and have no rips or major staining. This Civic touts a decently sized trunk area, with the ability to enlarge cargo capacity by laying down the rear seats. The OEM parcel shelf is on hand and gives a finished look. The factory Gathers audio system no longer works but Honda enthusiasts will love the factory optional arm rest which houses the OEM Gathers CD changer. Its clear the car was cared for in a prior life and the next owner will surely agree.

Power is provided by a D15B engine, which is as reliable as the day is long. Our trained technicians performed the following preventative maintenance to ensure a worry-free ownership experience for the next owner and including a fresh oil and filter service, a new engine air filter, a new valve cover gasket, new trailing arm bushings, 4 new tires, and a brand new battery. The 5-speed manual transmission complements the D15B engine well, shifting gears smoothly without any grinds. The clutch is easy to engage and shows no signs of slipping. Driving at highway speeds, windy backroads, or city streets the suspension will keep everyone comfortable while still being fun to drive. This EG hatch is as stock as they come, an increasingly difficult thing to find these days, and is ready for its next owner to make it their own!
